The flavour/utility passives suggested a few months back in Global Labs flopped because they were very imbalanced and some affected pve/pvp performance in substantial ways. What we really need are some passives that literally just give flavour without causing substantial imbalances. Literally just think of class lore.

For example, Sage's Ator's Eye is very lore friendly and doesn't really break the game. Sage can also read some ancient records in ruins, which other classes cannot see. Nova had the King's Key questline. I think this is the type of passives, quests, and interactions we need. As other examples, Shai can use the victlari to illuminate dark areas (like a firefly). Valkyries can get special interactions and discounts at the holy college or with the Elion church buffs, or a valkyrie training questline. Sorcs can get discounts when exchanging energy for black spirit buffs, as well as unique interactions and quests in Tarif. You get the idea.

Newer classes are much more polished and have unique stuff attached to them, compared to older classes. It would be great to give more love to the lore and interactions of each class with the BDO world.
