That looks amazing !
If I may offer some constructive criticism :
- Composition : center the character and horse head a little more, so add some space to the left and the top. Let them breathe a little.
- Character face : add a little shading, but keep it very light, like the horse head. So it appears less flat and doesn't conflict with the rest of the painting.
- Background image : lower the constrast. Backgrounds usually need a lower constrast than foregrounds, giving the image a sense of space. Also maybe stylize the image, it look too much like a photo, and conflicts with the characters (maybe an oil filter ?). The blur was also the right idea.
Other than that, wonderful work. :)

I got a chuckle out of this piece. It seems to embody the way a Shai character might regularly chat with it's horse just as carefree as you please.

i like how the background reminds me of bdo with the depth setting on (but ultra mode)
the horse is centered, it is the star of the photo/image
shai is leading the horse, but the horse is somewhat more mature than the shai, like a dog walking a boy (or girl)
.
maybe add one of those horse-moon images in the sky (i hope everybody knows the image by now)
you could reverse the moon image, just for fun

Shais ride donkeys, nice pic tho detail in forground and background is really nice!

As an artist, I would appreciate it if you'd ask first. Not everyone wants criticism of any sort any time they post something...
I personally think the drawing is a banger!! I don't know what they want to achieve with their art or what direction they're taking with it but I'm just enjoying seeing more artists posting art on here. It's a good opportunity besides instagram and other sites where smaller artists struggle to have ppl interact with their art.
