Enhancing always feels like gambling, because it is gambling. Failstacking is also gambling, albeit much less.
Is failstacking really gambling? If you fail at failstacking chances are high you are making big money. (well depending on what method you use)

Referring to enhancing and failstacking as separate activities leads me to believe you don't understand the process yet.
Enhancing and failstacking are two systems, but both are closely intertwined by design.
Looking at the separate makes in some cases sense. But most of the time you should look at them as one process.

Enchancing in this game is only made for one reason how to milk money from whales. If you want to keep sanity buy everything from auction.

There should be pity system like in Lost ark. Imagine wasting 100 bilions on enchancing black star to pen and still not get it. Enchancing system only exist for desperate ppl and whales to melt skins for crons.
PA should not be this greedy, I spent fortune just for weight for plenty of my chars and tent and pets, thats should be enough. Pa should wake up and abandon this P2W mark.
The game is so heavily overpriced anyway, imagine spent 60 euro for only like 600 weight limit for only one character, meanwhile you can just buy another AAA game.
Overpriced lmao, the game is 2,99€. I got 100× more out of it than out of triple A 70€ shitfest called Diablo 4. Also if you spent 60€ on 600 weight it's your own fault, there are plenty of discounts and coupons.

Yes, its overpriced. 3 Euro is cheap, made on purpuse to lure you in, then milk you dry for maids, weight, camp, pets, etc, etc, etc for EVERY your char. You cannot play comfortably without buying from cash shop, all inconveniences are implemented on purpose - to make you pay. BDO is not game, its a framework for abusive monetisation. They act like drug dealers trying to hook up new addicts, first sample is always free, then when you're on hook you will pay hundred of times more than free sample cost. Absolutely disgusting. The guy did right thing - quited before Sunk Cost Fallacy kicked in. I wish I never started "playing" this game. Its 2+ years already and I'm still dirt poor despite I spent approximately x2 price of other games monthly subscription. I could play BOTH ESO and Eve Online at the same time and be happy chap...

I wish mine cost 100b... It took me enough silver to buy 7 to make just 3, of which the 3rd went easily and the first 2 combined were actually already over 700b... the pain is real.

I feel you op. Failstacking is absolutely the most retarded game mechanic i've ever seen. I'm quite happy with gearing my characters with PEN Tuvala gear AND I will not grind for silver. I've got way better things to do and games to play.

hah yea the most egregious example of overmonetization is their silly 3 subscription option. Value pack $15 / month. Kama Blessing $25 / month. Old Moon Book $25 / month. $65 per month subscription hahahahah my sides you could sub to almost 5 other MMOs for that! These bois be crazy out here with this monetization! Is it any wonder the game is in the state it is?

Yes and they have just doubled down even harder on it in the Patch notes today:
- * Changed the quantity of Valks' Cry and Cron Stone when extracting outfits: 621 → 993
- * Changed the max price for pearl items that can be registered: ▲ Approx. 94%
- * Changed the price of Artisan's Memory in the Pearl Shop: 50 → 25 Pearls
Several much better games have just been released the past 2 quarters and their panic (and thus need to Gouge everyone who still remains here) is clearly taking over, hence this "incentive" to just let Whales brute force their way past the mostly NON-FUNCTIONAL "failstack" system as it exists in the upper most brackets
