I made some imperial boxes in Heidel and decided to bring them out to Valencia, since I recently connected all the nodes in between. I made it to Valencia, which by the way, that bandit camp between the two cities is brutual when your inventory and horse inventory is full lol. Anyways, I made it to Valencia and it said I couldn't give my cooking crates to the Imperial trade guy. I read this has been a bug for a while. I restarted my game and it still didn't fix it.
Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?
Well. Not sure why you cant give it to him, but you do know there is no distance bonus on the boxes, so no need to bring them to any other vendor right?
Just turn them in in Heidel, and youre fine
Some lessons are better learned in blood.
Well I have usually just turned them into Heidel, I recently started to get into the long grind of trading, and i thought i read somewhere that there was a distance bonus? Did there used to be maybe? Luckily I was bringing trade crap there anyways so it wasnt a complete waste, but now I guess ill have to shuffle them back.
Thanks for the reply!
Imperial turnins dont have a distance bonus, so there is no need to bring them somewhere else ^^

There is a distance bonus but it ain't silver. It's trade exp. It's not massive but it adds up and really helps early level gains.
You can transport your boxes instead of moving them by horse. You will pay some silver but you won't waste your time.
Pack the meals in Grana, do the Magnus quests first(if you haven't yet) so you can move items between towns through storage NPC/container. Shift your food to Grana, pack and transport to Altinova if Valencia ain't working for you. Use the storage transport system though, don't use horse. You can easily make up for fee. Cook more for example you need more contribution points.
