RBF like any content should reward the amount of time Invested. Currently the rewards for winning or lossing are simply not worth 20min of your time.
As BDO is a korean grinder at its core rbf shouldnt compare to grinding and I agree with that BUT the amount we recieve for winning right now doesnt even cover the buffs a lot of people use to mid max their performance.
If 1 hour of grinding equals 100mill silver on average. 1hour of rbf (3games) should be at least 30-40% of that.
NO YOU CANT BOT IT OR AFK.
SIMPLY ONLY DISTRIBUTE REWARDS BASED ON INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS POINTS ON TOP OF REGULAR REWARD.
Example
Win = 5mill
Loss = 3mill
Points -
50 = 5mill
100= 7mill
150 = 10mill
250 = 13mill
350 = 16mill
Rbf would have to be locked faster than after 10min to prevent abuse for higher than intended silver gain.
SHAI AND DP PLAYERS... Well... tough luck maybe if they added assitance points or shared the kill points among all dmg/cc contributors but thats too much to ask for. This however shouldnt be an issue just as striker making 40% more money grinding than bottom tier classes isnt.
About time the game rewarded pvp at least 30% as much as pve... maybe even add some incentive to buy something from pearl shop like 5% more rbf silver if u have a value pack to appease the corporate overlords.
To the players that despise giving anything to pvp community literallly go F your self ; ) u still make 300% more money watching movies and being afk on a boat.
As long as the entry to be viable in RBF is typically 15,000 hours of grinding or $50,000+. It'll never be worth it. Better off playing Smite or Apex Legeds for PvP at that point.
If they want to make it worth it. They'd have to lower the bar of entry. Or else you'll just end up with the same 20 to 40 players playing it everyday. And soon as someone else who wants to try it out see it's pointless. They'll book for PvP elsewhere.
I highly understand the Koreans want to make cash shop based RNG gear rewarding. But when they do it at the cost of alienating 95% of the playerbase. You'll end up with a RBF scene like the one in BDO.
Meanwhile across the ocean. You have those MMOs battlegrounds and arean PvP scenes highly populated. And more people consistantly playing them. That the Top 100 or 250 Leaderboards can't contain the amount of players PvPing.
The biggest bone the developers can give to the PvP scene and community of BDO. Is making true PvP venues where even low geared players can compete and thrive in. But that would be hoping for too much since these guys business model is blatantly obvious. So good luck with that!

Rbf is just a side activity not the pvp of bdo. What you described is already in game in form of t1 nodewars with capped gear that can be obtained in 2 months playtime. They also already added gear matched rbf and it died after a week.
I think people dont realise how shallow bdo pvp is if u were to just arena on equal gear for a month most people would most likely quit. Which already is an option with trial characters. The game is designed to have no balance tons of classes and they release 2-3 new ones per year. Then they add successions which doubled the amount of classes its pretty clear game is not aimed to be competitive in any form other than grinding for more gear score.
Anyways this was totally off topic since my point is to be able to make low to mediocre progress or at least get back your investment of buffs for doing an rbf.
The target is the top 5% of players that have the gear to participate in rbf and enjoy it. I do know its not a good game mode for majority of playerbase but it doesnt mean the people who can do it should get nothing but watsed time.
Yeah surely it wont make players KSing on purpose then afking at start to keep the high score...
RBF points scale higher as the game goes on you cant get 350 points in first 5minutes.
RBF has an anti AFK system that will require someone to be at the keyboard all the time I think u need to deal dmg every X amount of minutes.
If someone really decides to do what u described all power to them the money they gets is still dogshit he would be better off chopping wood or making flour. They are the ones losing time. I dont see your point.

People try to KS because the team gets points, I don't know of anyone that would sit back and watch two people 1v1 just to not KS them. You can't afk either, the game kicks you out after a minute of inactivity. You can't even afk after you jump down the ramp into your own spawn.
