I have been here since launch as well, Todays BDO is only recognizable in apearance. The game we are all playing now if it would of been like this since launch we would have lost a lot less players over the past 4 years.

It is in a better direction i am personally glad to see Kakao out the door but aprehensive about what dirtection PA will take in the future. DONT like this forum already its not as intuitive as the Kakao one, doesnt let us pick 12 chars for names and our own profile pic. It also has no notifications so your back to searching the forums.

I hope that PA will roll out updates together as a global platform instead of KR getting content first like the Elvia servers or like how they had BS awakening and gloves for almost 3 months prior as well as ordraxia almost 8 months before us. I am also wishing that our voice will match that of KR's when it comes to class balancing this whole WIZ/Witch "God Mode" is pretty much do to KR.

Anywho i am glad to still be playing BDO and will continue in the future.

yea, it's great; I also hope and believe in good things from bdo. I think there already are many strong points to it and I am having a good time, but the future is exciting and I feel there's always something interesting on the horizon.

im pretty sure we gonna be ripped off from money :) as I already checked their policy about refunds etc its more like east side customer thinking.

Founder here as well. When games go into transitions like this, even if in hands of developers, things can change drastically and sometimes for the worst. I'm hoping for the best since I've stuck around this long but I'm holding off on buying anything for a while until I see road maps and other changes. Also want to see how they handle customer service. Those things are very important to me if I want to stick around and spend my hard-earned money.

If pearl abyss figures out how to make traditional, group-based, and challenging dungeons besides a simple gear check, that has a various entry for different gear ranges, BDO will take off to higher acclaim. The group aspect that most people have come to love and are the hallmarks of MMORPGs is sorely missing in BDO. Time to make the change so BDO can compete with the top 3 MMOs out there.

its too late already, BDO has an awfull reputation all around the internet and if you add the p2w reputation on top and the fact that bdo combat skills werent designed to be used on dungeons the only logical step to take is to wait for a real MMO and move on to that game.

Where's your bad reputation "all around internet" ? If I look at Steam reviews they are mostly positive.

that's because bdos pros outweights the cons once you play it. 

And the cons of bdo are a big NO for many western players making them not even try the game. 

But once you try, your bank account belongs to Pearl abyss :-D

I am also a founder and I love seeing positive posts like this. I'm still here because obviously I still enjoy the game. The game isn't perfect but the pros it has outweigh the cons. 

Brace for impact though because once the BDO KAKAO forums close, all those "full-time toxic forum trolls" will migrate to this one and sit on the forums 24/7 sharing their pessimistic views, conspiracy theories, half-assed assumptions, and more with the crowd! 

Those people are so pathetic that they made me appreciate normal posts talking about BDO things without the intention of just talking trash for the sake of talking trash. Who would have thought I would ever grow to appreciate BDO related discussions on BDO forums?!?!

Gosh, I hope those guys just go away with the service transfer. 

I love the direction its in,only thing is I wish they would keep tweaking class balances.I know classes can never be balanced but changing things up a bit maybe once a month keeps things exciting and lots of excitement and anticipation for seeing what weekly updates will bring.
