Family Name: SeedofYggdrasil

Region (NA/EU): EU

Edit:
As long as we still have to go to town to get the silver (church) buff, this will be a good-for-nothing change! Just go through each furniture and match their duration with silver (church) buff, how hard can that be!!!?
While we are at it, the buffbar should get a rework! Like all elixir get the same icon and when you hover over the icon there will be a breakdown for all elixir you used. Same for food, and other categories of buffs.

Comments: Nowadays, veteran players at high-end spots typically use one of two setups for grinding, with an hourly upkeep cost ranging from about 70 million to 100 million silver.
1. PA introduced a new UI for Item Collection Scrolls because in the past, players felt pressured to keep grinding until the scroll's duration was over. Nowadays, many players have over 1000 Item Collection Scrolls and don't pay much attention to them. Instead, they are more concerned about the cost of all the buffs they are using. Many players feel forced to keep grinding because these buffs are so expensive.
2. Typically, players visit a city before they start grinding to use the church buffs, which have a duration of 120min/300min , and furniture buffs with durations of 60min/180min.
This creates the inconvenient to return to the city once the furniture buffs did run out and wasting the rest of the curch buffs.
Suggestions:
1. Add a pause button to the UI for Item Collection Scrolls, allowing us to freeze all buffs on the buff bar (similar to how we can stop using alchemy stone).
2. Increase the duration of furniture buffs to 120min/300min, like some of the new LoML furniture already have!
3. Increase the duration of party elixirs and draughts from 15min to 20min to match perfumes duration (and for normal elixirs the duration to 15min)
4. Allow us to go to a npc and let us select elixirs in our inventory which then get combined into ONE single elixir! (Many players think it's annoying to pop 10+ elixirs to get all the buffs)

Or they could start deleting buffs so players don't need to have 2 full buff bars to do basic ingame activities? Consolidate all of 'em into at most 3 buffs with 1/2h duration and K.

This is just bandaid fixing on top of bandaid fixes to justify a fundamentaly broken feature. There is no fun or added value in having this amount of buffs in the game, it only createas annoyance and problems to deal with.

Why would this be a bandaid fix? It literally solves the core issues.

It doesn't matter that elixirs, food, perfumes have diffrent durations since we have Continuous Care. (They should rework fairy system though)

For buff bar, they just need to group similar buffs into 1 icon and not what we have now. Thats all.

It doesn't solve the issue, only hides it. Even if you could pause it (which btw already possible if you have a PvE tag and switch when you not grind), then we would immediately have posts about:

-why is there a cd on it, I dont want to wait

-random buffs still not getting stoped

-why it doesn't automatically gets stoped, omg I lose time!!!

-random exploits, jsut as usuall.

-every other week when PA adds a random new buff for literately no reason, ppl will be mad that it doesn't get stopped

And yeah, it's a bandaid fix. Buffs do not meant to be stored. If you use them you should be prepared that they will going to expire (shocking). If you need to micromanage your buffs then there is an issue in the design as whole.

Just as the fairy care was a bandaid fix as the whole elixir rotation is an AIDS that they should've just removed from the game.

hes not really wrong on this. continuous care is just a bandaid solution that PA sells to you via the fairly predatory fairy system that can cost you ALOT of real life money depending on RNG instead of removing the need for such things altogether by simply changing how buffs work. instead of 20 elixirs there could just be a big "super draught" that gives you all the stats of a full elixir rotation, but that would not be as profitable as selling you a solution to an inconvenience they willingly designed into the game.

the only "positive" about the large amount of different consumables and buffs available in the game is that it lets players differentiate each other based on how committed they are to minmax all their buffs and track their uptime.

Do you really tag your main class again just to be able to "pause" the buff bar? It's not even really paused since you can't swap back til you at your grindspot again. Thats a real bandaid solution xD

Item drop rate caps out at 300% and if you are worried about exploiters, just make the diffrent 10h buffs we recently get not stackable.

As long as they make fairy system more accessable to get continious care V relativ reliable, there is no problem at all. Just group similar buff on the buff bar.

Having a lot of buffs and choices is not bad!

I wouldn't want to pay full price for all these elixirs tbh. You will be paying a huge premium for your big "super draught" xD

They could make custom draughts but then we would have tousands of diffrend draughts, so no.

Btw. what would turning elixirs into one super draught or furniture + church buff into one buff solve?

They will always have diffrent durations and even with the same duration you are poping furniture + church buff in a city, while elixirs on the go.

If you manage to make them somehow all the same, why do we even have buffs? Why not remove this feature completly, so we never have to worry about them?
