So as of this weeks patch (30th of august) i was having severe crashing issues. i would have the client become unresponsive every 15 mins. i would just be running around. and then the game becomes unresponsive. the popup box appears to wait for it to respond or close... the moment i hear all fans ramp down in RPM. i knew it has no chance of recovering. i initially thought it was EAC related. but after opening tsk mgr and seeing what was wrong. im greeted by the game maxing out my systems resources. i can no longer sail and watch a video on my second monitor on chrome anymore without it stuttering badly. i can no longer minimise game to afk fish or horse train and play another game

(Minimised game for me would barely ever use 6% cpu usage and 2.4GB of ram). Now it fails to correctly adjust ram and the CPU usage no matter if im at a crowded fishing spot or on my own in the middle of nowhere with no one around me. it constantly jumps between 20-63% MINIMISED. [Check provided SS bellow] and right now its hardlocked at 35% cpu usage and it doesnt even budge for some reason. my game is just constantly running at 93-100% CPU usage when playing actively, With dips into the 70's and 60's from time to time. never lasting very long tho. i havent had any new windows update since i last played 2 days before maintanence and now i have a severe memory leak occouring and CPU & GPU usage being maxed out. Fun thing to note. i have a GPU undervolt profile setup cause the GPU did get quite hot when grinding and doing group scrolls. so it should always sit comfortably at 60-68c. INSTEAD its constantly pushing 85c which i dont like.

is this happening or happened to anyone else and got any recommendations in correcting the issue. support yeilded zero notible results and im now stumped.

And for the technical stuff. im on win11 build 22H2, i have ran remastered with high textures, FXAA, faraway NPC & objects enabled, everything else disabled. Like i mentioned above, this issue only presented itself after this weeks update. and there is no notible difference in performance in other games i play!
