Wondering if they will transfer the game to the new engine. Basically recreate the game in the new engine and assign all the data over to the new assets so nothing changes for the players. Just better graphics / physics and room for amazing new things to be added with more possibilities of the Blackspace Engine.
I doubt there is a financial incentive for this. And it would take several years and several million in development cost.
Maybe if Crimson Desert is commercially successful enough.

They said they wont a while ago and that they would just update the current engine with new features... PAs way of dodging fixing some of the fundamental issues with bdo
Their new launcher for the merged region contains references to their new engine, so it's possible. For the people saying they wouldn't do this, did you forget BDO before it was BDO Remastered?
