Thank you PA for making the game enjoyable for new comers, while making those trash pvper's stay in Arsha where they belong.

Wrong. Pvp belongs to any unrestricted channel. You'll still have to deal with it, with bodythrowing, with ksing and with mob feeding, every time you can't access to Marni yet. 

In short, instead of thinking about a proper regulated owpvp system, they propose to ignore the problem by hiding on Marni more often. But the problem still exists, nothing's solved. 

A new band-aid, as I keep saying. 

BDO needs improved grind spots so that the rewards always match the gear required to use it ; it needs better, gradual and adequate penalties for killing AND for dying in pve and pve ; these penalties must never be permanent ; but the biggest offenders MUST have the biggest punishment.

But above all, BDO must restore the first meaning of its owpvp, fighting for a spot. The exp loss was too much BUT removing it without replacing was a big mistake. 

Players began to feel entitled to a spot even if they could not fight for it. That's a nonsense, Devs themselves activated pvp right from the start and that was intended. 

Now, I perfectly agree that players should not be able to avoid penalties by using one sided wars. You kill, you must bear the consequences of your actions. 

BUT, when devs removed exp loss and did not replace it, they remove part of the meaning of killing as the opponent could go back to the spot repeatedly without any serious drawback. 

Obviously, pk becomes meaningless... If you decide to remove its meaning. It sounds logical. 

Interestingly, the system gets back its meaning if you can inflict a penalty to the player, that's why mob feeding is still working. But the penalty for the victim is potentially higher than the previous exp loss

In the end, Mr Devs, instead of encouraging players to be assholes towards others, why don't you remove the lame parts of the system (ks, bodythrowing, mob feeding) at the same time, and make sure that the initial parts (team play, pk) are working correctly and encourage sane players' interactions, with a proper condom over excessive behaviors? 

It looks like you're stuck in the idea of isolating players, when the initial idea of BDO was far more ambitious, and did not fear being different from mainstream MMORPGS. Don't forget your initial project, please, games with such a regulated owpvp are nearly absent and liking such a setting does not make us insane, asocial, or irrelevant. Let us all be together, on a reduced number of channels, but with better mob density/respawn on grind spots, even if it means conflicts. We're grown-ups, we can bear it. ;)

How about we attempt to be decent to each other.  Pvp and gvg aren't going away.  Time for both sides to become respectful.  I never grinded over others' rotations, and I still won't do so.  If you want the thrill of killing other players, you still have arsha, rbf, AOS, nude wars, and the war of the roses.  Oh...and you can still flag up.  no big deal

I just want my spot and not to wait for it. This is the sole reason gear is necessary - else its just worthless cosmetics because there is 0 gain from having it. No reward for pvp, no reward for pve.

Now you will with the Marni changes.  Gear still needed for pvp, arsha, and the countless other venues for pvp.

There are three aspects to a one-sided declaration of war. 

1. Griefing newer/weaker players

2. Retaliation in response to somebody griefing your grind

3. 6 slot dec limitation, so even though it is a mutual gvg, the recipient guild cannot dec back because PA decided on a random limit. 

I support the Marni change as it seems to fix number 1 straight up.

People who decced because of 2 and 3 are punished because PA decided they needed a heavy-handed approach.  GVGs are absolutely going away after these changes. The next change from PA will be to punish people for mob feeding or make crystal break prevention permanent. That means there is absolutely no point in grinding outside of Marni's. This is not a doomer say. This is what is going to happen for sure.
