Pearl Abyss (PA) introduced a silver/hour boost to level the playing field for players with higher gear, but this move inadvertently triggered a problematic cycle. Here's a breakdown of the situation:

  1. Silver Boost: PA increases the silver per hour rate to cater to players with better gear.

  2. Price Inflation: In response to the silver boost, prices for all in-game items are inflated to maintain balance.

  3. Vendor Cron Inflation: As players start making more money due to the boosted silver rates, the prices of Vendor Crons, used for enhancing gear, also increase.
     Loop this again.

What PA seems to overlook is the significant resource investment required for players to effectively grind in these high-AP zones with boosted silver/hour:

  • Church buffs
  • Recharged Vell's Heart
  • Villa buffs
  • House buffs (for Accu/AP to meet high AP/Accu requirements)
  • Draughts/Perfumes/Elixirs
  • At least one PEN Blackstar/Godr weapon (Alternate is Caphras Dandi/Kzarka but has way less Monster ap)
  • Horse buff
  • A minimum of 3 billion silver worth of Crystals (essential for these dangerous zones)
  • Dekhia...
  • High risk of crystal loss like Glorious Ah'krad, Rebellious, or Girin (Mostly these 3 because YES)

The notion that players can consistently make +1.2 billion silver per hour in these areas is debatable.

This situation raises questions about the target audience for the inflation of Vendor Cron prices.

It's not clear who benefits the most from this increase.
In reality, players grinding in the higher AP spots are more likely to require Crons, making the price increase detrimental to them.

The 50% increase in Vendor Cron prices translates to a 33% reduction in the effective income for a significant portion of EU players. For instance, if a player used to make 1 billion silver per hour and spent it on Vendor Crons, they would typically obtain 500 Crons, With the upcoming price increase, they would now only receive 333 Crons. This sharp decrease significantly impacts the silver efficiency of grinding for many players in the EU server.

As a veteran EU player it feels like u are getting double slappped in the face. And the same feeling we have for years stays. PA only cares about KR.

Why the fk should the rest of us normal players care about EITHER party in this example?

You start off pointing out that it's bad economincs because it's just obvious Trickle-Down Loop-Holing ...and then you jump off the tracks and say it's the No Lifers who already secured the bag and kicked the ladder down who suffer here.  WRONG.  That's not how Inflation punishes the broader population.   You'd be right if you pointed out that this is a staged Conflict to incite even more Winner-takes-All competition for one group of Tryhards against another group.   You'd be right if you called them the "Asset" class that boasts inflated "Production" metrics due to these latest hamfisted mechanics that PA shoved into the ugly carrots of these mostly Inaccessible Zones (for 95% of the rest of the playerbase).

But you don't even do that.  No you're not facing the reality that this was a targeted rising tide that only raise some people's boats (especially wallet warriors as of this morning) and that the rest of us who couldn't dedicate 30,0000 hours to this mess were left behind years ago

PA only cares about KR's opinion and money. even though NA/EU makes up 60% of their income per region, our voices are not heard, and will not be considered.

The ONLY way that this change is reverted is if people stop buying in the pearlshop, as we have so much leverage being the most profitable region to PA.

And if absolutely nobody ever wants to enhance anything, you won't see any enhanced item on the MP. :)

please leave that toddler mindset of yours.

If no1 would enchance= no1 would buy costumes to sell or melt = NO MONEY

PA would introduce a new/changed system to start making money.
