The issue is that it is unclear what made you think this was a widespread problem. You looked at how many one-sided decs existed and the small self-selected group of people filing support tickets instead of trying to resolve things with in-game systems, but you never looked at the people who used decs to prevent karma bombing and griefing of their PvE areas they were already grinding in. I have never ever, not once, been grinding and had someone come, dec me, wait 15 minutes, then push me off of a spot and leave the one sided dec rolling to harass me. Not in all the years I've played, not at lower-gear-score spots, not at endgame spots, not ever. Decs only come out when a spot is contested and PvP needs to be the avenue to solve the problem without the 2 or 3-kill karma cap. Which is a totally fine and exciting part of the game systems - but happens extremely rarely.

Anecdotally, 4 officers from my guild, all 700+ gear score veterans, basically soft quit when the changes were announced. The game is dead to them. They tried posting a topic way back when the Korean letter from J was published on the one-sided dec changes, it was ignored. This thread was ignored. They no longer log in. They thought surely PA's community team would have a better finger on the pulse of the NA playerbase than to enact these changes here, but they were wrong and now I only see them chat from time to time in discord.

Really sad to lose some long time guildmates and friends because of a misunderstanding leading to a really bad ruleset change in a game we all love.

I am sorry. I lost some friends from BDO too.  I wish they had moved more slowly to more surgically target the bad behavior - misuse of deccs to settle grudges or to harass people that other don't like.  Timers on one sided decs with cooldowns would have been a good small step.

Address the problem of gutting the one aspect of the game, because of someone taking things too personal in a virtual world for what?

This was nothing, but putting the problems under the rug and call it a day.

And I wonder what kind of "improvements" are those. Fixing problems by making more problems or worse. Making them even bigger.

At this point they should change name to Black Desert Offline. 

How many people play in small or medium guilds? What is their motivation to push gear? 

Getting into NW is painfull. AoS is limited and doesnt require gear. Dungeons are puzzle not combat. New spots require gear, sure, but why do I need marni Telescope for? 

This change doesnt kill game. That would be silly to assume. But it limits what people can do, and PA gave nothing in return. OW PvP was content for many, like it or not, and it's gone. Nobody gonna cry, and we will just move to greener pastures, but what PA gonna cut next to appease next vocal group?

We don't care about your hypocrisy, we wanted consideration.

I don't really care about the fact that the guild wars have to be agreed both sides if it solves one issue for you, as long as you take care of all the issues around it too.

But you don't.

So this update clearly is wrong and you don't care, you state it's that way despite the disagreement of so many players, those who made live your game.

You have a great unappreciation of your playerbase, thinking you please all of them with this update when clearly it's more like 10% of them.

Please, now right your wrong and come with a solution.

It's very clear that you won't come back on that decision (as this post is now being "Reviewed" in your feedback board, wich is useless as we can see).

So, to clearly fit this update to everyone, now prepare a great update to avoid griefers too.

If you say GvG one sided ruin the experience of players, don't forget that griefers ruin the experience of most of them too.

So, if we follow your logic, you HAVE TO solve it too, as you take the experience of players so seriously.
