Any of you guys remember when BDO was considered a PvP game? 

Honestly, if they could do that, then I would be against this change.  We are permadecced by a 745 gs, one person guild whose only purpose is to grief me.  He follows me across server channels.  We don't decc others, so I have no idea how he can keep deccing me.  Trust me, if they would have dealt with that, I wouldn't favor this change.  

So, lifeskill guilds CAN be decced if the guild doing the deccing has no one else decced?

This is just factually wrong. There are two types of guilds ones who are ready for war and ones who are not. Guilds who are ready for war cannot dec guilds who are not. That's the only restritction. A guild who is ready for war, and who also does not own a node, can drop all of thier active decs and immidiately become not ready for war. They then will be free to dec ANY guild they like, and can even put all of those old decs back up again after deccing the lifeskill guild.

Terrible change, you already cannot dec guilds that own no nodes and have no decs up. If someone can declare war on you, congrats you own a node or already have a dec up, therefore you are a PVP guild and should be treated as such. A NW guild will almost always both own a node and/or have decs up and cannot declare war on the smaller guilds the majority of the time anyway. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

The fact that flagging up and killing the other player wasn't even listed as option is exactly why this change needs to go through. We're so far gone that we don't even see the intended solution as an option any more. PvPing players is supposed to have a cost. The announcement points this out and even says that those cost are supposed to be "very powerful." PvP should come with a risk and the fact that even veteran pvpers can't even imagine a world in which they would take on a risk to kill another player is a huge problem. 

Please don't make this change. Marni's realm is enough for people to be able to solo grind and avoid PVP if and when they want to. All it does is punish the  rest of the player base. 

For those of us who have stuck around since 2016, we all managed. Sure there were some frustrating moments over the years with someone trying to gank you while you are focused on a grind etc, but honestly that added to the gameplay over time. It wouldn't be as entertaining without that random element in the game.  Marni's realm is literally the solution for those wanting to avoid that element.... no reason to go beyond that. 

Have 3-6 Non Season, No PVP servers would be a better solution. 

With Dec changes, People will have to wait till the person is done grinding (could be hours) and Marni isnt an option for a lot of top end spots for other spots that Marni would be an option, Make Marni more viable. You should get community feedback for what the "Main rotations" are for the grind zones, because some of them are very poorly optimized, like Jade Forest. 

Everything is already in place to avoid griefing. Implementing this is a pretty baseless solution for a lot of established players/guilds. Protections exist channel swapping exists and is being buffed. Marni realm also exists and is being buffed. These two things alone can stop any and all player interactions if need be. The fact that PA wants to offput moderation onto the players is a little concerning. Instead why not just try to educate the current community you wish so much to wanna retain on how the current DEC system works. Honestly I didnt know all the capabilities you had to actually help players until I became STAFF and was explained to by other members. Let your new players know the options and limitations of the current system. If this is resolved you dont annoy one playerbase to appease the other at all and dont even have to implement current resource limitations/server limitations to protect these people. Its unneccasry and redundant on a backend logic even. So implement your marni changes implement your server swap changes and let that roll for a few months Pearl before you decide to implement this new DEC system please. If you are worried about Perma dec's here is the solution for that..... You can now only declare for 1 month straight... every month you have to redec atleast.  Simple effective and reasonable so please.
