I have a non season character which is now lvl 55. I enjoy playng it more than my season one. Heres my problem ive gotten all this Naru gear and the stone to enhance it so thats what i did. Noe that some of it is Pen i find i cant exchange it for Tuvala as i thought i could. So what do i do now with a ton of Tuvala enhancing stones but no gear? It is very confusing and frustrating. Do i just start over with regular gear? What about all these stones? Any help and or suggestions would be appreciated.

If I understood your post correctly.

Naru gear and stones are bound to character and you can exchange Naru Pen gear to Pri Tuva straight away but I belive this option is only available to Season characters as regular characters cannot equip not exchanged Tuvala (You have season tuvala and off-season tuvala).

Your best option is, finish season character with all missions, get the time piece from fughar and use it on a normal character. 

There is a lvl limit on wich character u can use the time piece, so you might want to create a new Normal char that is like thr one you enjoy.

You can do both 1 & 2 below:

1. On a non-season character, once per family (or is it twice now?), you can exchange PEN Naru for Narchillan gear. It's not quite as good as PEN Tuvala, but it's still very serviceable.  Armor, helmet, shoes, gloves, main weapon, subweapon. You exchange your canon awakening weapon since there is no Naru equivalent. 

You do not get accessories.  An entry level set can be aquired from the main questlines in Kamasylvia (earings), Valencia (rings), Drieghan (belt), and O'dylitta (necklace).  There's also a once-per-family earing from Mountain of Eternal Winter quests.

2. You can still use season enhancing materials to create and improve Tuvala gear starting from base if you don't have the PEN Naru to start at PRI Tuvala.  Season Tuvala gear will not be equippable by a non-season character until you graduate your season character and convert the gear to non-season Tuvala. Enhance all season Tuvala items to PEN before graduating. You can create Tuvala accessories too.

Excess Tuvala enhancing material can also be exchanged for other useful things, or for silver.  For even more materials, fish for season coelecanth.  They can be exchanged for other things too.

There are more useful things from the Season Pass too, so you may still want to progress your season character to take advantage of the pass items.  Among many other things, there is a stone for guaranteed gear TET to PEN enhancement, and another for guranteed TET to PEN accessory enhancement.

There are some regional quests that will reward DUO Tuvala accessories.  And reaching certain levels with a season character will reward a PEN Tuvala ring (59) and earring (60).
