We got another event trying to forcing to do the shrine. That's funny to see Pearl Abyss thinking players still care about it. What's the point of doing the event ? None because in the event calendar we will get a free Girin Crystal, for players for never got it or for players trying to make the tear.

Shrine Bosses is a total failure. Even in Korea, few weeks after the released, many feedbacks said it was just bad and pointless. You have to lose time doing bosses for random rewards, most of the time some trace of battle, embersn memory frags and some other useless things. 
Maybe the only player base doing it is players trying to make Deboreka Earring, but that's it.

Shrine needs a rework to make it more actractive and also more comprehensible.
For example, I did Sangoon recently, there is a moment where rocks fall and you have to yourself in order to avoid a one shot attack. But for some reason sometimes, you don't get the rock, you don't even get the message of the attack and Sangoon just oneshot you. Then rocks fell and I got the message of the attack.

And I'm not even talking about the fact at the beginning of the fight, you cannot move during 10 seconds, losing 80% because why not it's a funny from the devs.

So yes, they need to be more attractive and give more serious rewards.

Yeah they are a waste of time, but this was pretty much expected at day1. Just let it be, it won't be the first dead contetn nor the last.

The mechanics for the bosses can generally be learned quite well, but the overlapping of mechanics on lower tiers of the bosses make the fights unnecessarily difficult. Please add a way to prevents this.
And in terms of rewards: The complete RNG of the rewards, in addition to rankings not seeming to matter in the least do make the bosses feel pointless. You can get a flame, a debo and a fragment from a C1 boss, or nothing at all from a C7 boss, with no rhyme or reason to any of it. There needs to be a strong adjustment to what rewards are guaranteed because the upside even of getting the best rewards does not compensate for the effort that needs to be spent to complete especially C7 bosses.

It would seem C7 is the highest diffculty that can be supported by available gear and player tolerance.  It's at the edge of those.  Looking at the light orbs interface, and the fact that they are planning up to C10 - all they will end up with is finer gradation betwen the easiest and hardest, with C10 and full orbs ending up where C7 and the current set of orbs is, and making C7 with a full set of orbs much easier (but with the interesting mechanics).  Unless they are planning on a lot of gear power creep.  Which would break so many other things, and really, just end up where we started.

As for rewards,  more or less agreed.  But don't nerf lower level rewards in the process.

hot take, but if you gear would count towards the dmg but still beatable with no gear (like it is rn with 10%) most ppl would not mind shrine bosses cuz they would be a quick weekly task.

For many bosses you need full buffs to negate the rng, and even then, rng can ruin the run, then you have to w8 for CD, then get the 30m buff again (thankfully its on the island now too).

Its just timewasting and annoying.

I don't have a problem with the rewards tbh.

I hate that bosstimes are rng, because you can skip mechanics.

I hate that mechanics can overlap or that you can get just one shoted out of nowhere by some random aoe.

Personally, I prefer boss fights with transparent mechanics where what you see is what you get.

Golden Pig has the best boss fight!

All of its attacks have a clear wind-up animation, which gives players a good idea of what's coming. Plus, there are no bs wipe mechanics to deal with.

Its an content for content creators, to make a video about it and never do it again, rewards is a joke, randomness of mechanics is a joke, competition based on mechanic randomness is even bigger joke.

PA simple don't have a vision of how to make long lasting and intresting content, because if you reward effort - "casual new player" will never benefits from it and catch up, so that's why its dead by design - in order not to upset "new players"  its just random rewards so everyone equally F'ed up and noone doing it.
