With the new recent P2W buff, GvG, and Marni's Realm changes it just killed the fun and the end-game sense for the 99% of the player base, which HELLO Pearl Abyss, you and your game still exists because of these tens of thousands who were willing to play your broken and now p2w buffed game, if we are gone, you are gone.
Pearl Abyss releases appealing updates and tries to get more new p(L)ayers to play their game, which boosts their chart up to 30-34k players for a very short period of time, seeing that, they take advantage of it and release the most pay2win updates possible, killing the fun of the veteran player base and making both new players and veterans players quit. By the looks of it, the game is again at its dying peak already, going from 34k players on Steam to 17k-21k.

Your argument is fake. There is no significant decline since the patch came live, and even if you would have point, it would require more time before it would be visible on the player count anyway.

Also this change doesn't really affect many players anyway. We already had cron cost increase before, and they increase the P2W every year, some players cry'd every time, and they still continue playing lmao. Noone of you are strong enough to actually stand up for anything, deal with it, you will be milked dry...

my biggest issue with the recent changes is the lack of consideration for the new players that would want to work towards gear progression. I do believe the update to vendor crons is going to be a net negative and we will lose a lot of motivated players over time. The fact that some people stayed last time they increased vendor cron price doesn't mean it wasn't actively harmful to the game. It took a lot to bring a lot of them back and a wave of new players in, and I think it'll be the same if it ever happens

There is no correlation between the changes and immediate fall in the player count. The tourist gamers from Lost Ark are gone, however, BDO is high compared to recent months except for the spike.

If people do end up quitting because of the changes, you will see them way down the line, when they are at a spot that showcases them that in BDO gear has no value other than looking at big numbers or enhancement dopamine.

The PvP changes and Marni Realm changes, I could live with, that's fine, I can just not use the Marni Realm as I never have, and PvP changes, I mean, can always go RBF and such, cause If I want PvP, I want it with ppl that want it to and are prepared for it (That's why whenever I wanted some, I went RBF or Arsha, and I got a lot of it, including but not limited to, getting my face smashed by strikers xD).

For me the cron price just made my gameplay irrelevant, once you reach full PEN BiS (apart from Debo), and TRI FGs, only upgrades are 5% chance 2.7k cron taps for TET FG or Debo (screw the debo grind). So, they just made my grind 50% harder than it already was, for no reason, cause even the outfits are less bang for your buck now, according to maths made, it's less more crons but less % of them compared to buying them from vendor now than it was b4. The drop increase they supposedly did, I did not notice anything that I see ppl talking about, but, I won't doubt it cause, me being extremely unlucky with tapping and drops is nothing new in the game, so my money didn't increase at all.

If for me it was a hit, I can't imagine people starting out now and trying to get the gear. I was here when there was no elvia, no seasons, no nothing, TRI boss gear was the soft cap, but the gear gaining was slow and steady, and reliable. For new players, all they had were the easy peasy season good times, and the grind will just be a greater shock to them now than it already was before. At endgame, it's just such a slog even for someone used to the old grind. Get 80-100 bil, get crons, get no gains most of the time cause unlucky TET FG taps with 230+ FS. Can't buy the gear cause, it ain't for sale on CM, or very rarely appears there and disappears real quick (TET FG), PEN Debos are impossible to buy for obvious reasons.
