I'm worried about the awk striker changes of the current global labs. The main damage rotation (excluding echo spirit) got a total buff of roughly 25%. We also don't know in which way shard usage will impact the damage. Assuming it has somewhere between a 1.1-1.25 dmg multiplier (a guess based on roaring tiger and savage fang of succ striker), this damage change could be completely overtuned and possibly create a new maegu or woosa. Awk striker is already super strong in pvp and with that change also possibly one of the top tier grinders, leaving no identity for the succ spec. Awk striker at this point would have: more protection, aoe, damage (so far was close to succ striker damage ~-5% maybe), survivability and better pvp of any type (1v1/pvx/large scale). I think there must be a way to balance not only the class itself (between the succ and awk spec) but also between classes in some way.

I personally don't think any awk striker buff is justified when looking at the overall class performance. Avg pve and god tier pvp.

A possible proposal as change would be to cut the glab damage buffs in half (so only 12.5% overall damage buff) while removing some protections. For example on skull crusher and savage somersault. Even tho I still think that any kind of buff to awk striker at this point is unjustified.

We need more maegus and woosa while they still exists, awk striker is good but its literally mediocre compared to woosa, maegu, zerker and others, show me a single video of a striker pulling out of the moon numbers, indeed, there isnt

Exactly. It's pve average and that's fine considering it's overall performance. Why would it need to pull "out of the moon numbers" It doesn't need to. The average performance is absolutely fine. Why would it need more than average? This just proves my point of it being fine.

Again. You ask for top tier videos, which don't exist because it's not a top tier grinder. But it's not supposed to be. That's the point he's average and shouldn't be more than that. It's called balance. If you give a class such a strong pvp kit you need to balance it somehow. That's where the AVERAGE pve comes into play. Which is fine. Also the AVERAGE pve gives succession a reason to exist because succession can still outperform awakening on certain spots. Not by much but by maybe 5-10%. I am maining striker for multiple years now. And I don't see a reason to give awk any buffs. If anything succ should get those damage due to a lack of protection, aoe, less mobility skills and beeing a bottom tier pvp spec. Awk however got aoe, mobility protection and pvp going on for him. He has even more burst, while having slightly less dps than succession.

Btw. woosa is basically the consequene of this, same as maegu. One of their specs is so powerful, that the other spec is basically not played at all because it doesn't perform better in any aspect. In that case the awk spec.

And what his PvP has to do with anything? since marjority of playerbase doesnt care AT ALL about PvP ( thats even obv with recent changes ) and what is the problem of being powerful? why he has to be average when there are powerful classes? you are literally buthurt because you hate awk and main succ, and other dums are following you since they hate the class since 2019 cuz yes, his pvp is really strong

Saying it again, all classes should be powerful PvE wise, when things like maegu, zerk, woosa exists, every class should be buffed to something close to their levels, PvE performance differences is just bad design in a game like this, since there are a lot of classes that are easy to play, also you dont need to feel like you are griefing yourself playing x class instead of y class

You literally have the experience, a lot of people rolled to woosa because she is no1, you said on discord that will ditch your succ striker and reroll to awk, oh, you are a SUCC STRIKER PLAYER, not a striker player per se, and you will do that cuz you think his numbers will be better, see how you contradict yourself lol?

If awk comes close to woosa succ ( and even with those buffs we are REALLY FAR from it ) i hope they buff striker succ too, and every class that needed it, like i said, every class PvE wise should be powerful, cuz, like you clearly showed with multiple discord messages freaking out, a class/spec being way better than another make people ( like you ) feel forced to play them since performance is way better, and that type of thing should never happen in a game that you can simple increased pve dmg, that simple.
