The final boss of Dungeon 2 causes people quite a lot of unnecessary grief.
The Issues:
1. The fish that glows is not actually visible consistent. Please just make the bobble on the stalk of its head permanently glow?
Leave the one that shouldn't glow not glow.
Very simple.
2. The same issue exists for the symbols on the floor. Make them stay on.
The only reason groups fail this is there is just half a second or so to see the symobl.
Leave the symbols on.
Fixing these two things would make dungeon two actually a mechanic rather than a random fail due to sheer chance.
Never say, "It is what it is"
That is the action that leads to defeat in all things. Say, "That happened." It puts it in the past tense.
Keep up the quality of things in a good way. Don't let yourselves fall into dispair.
1. They have already added an extra animation and now the fake fish also swim out of the ground instead of appearing immediately and that is enough to figure it out. There is no need for further changes.
2. If you want to keep these symbols permanent, why keep this mechanic at all? Let's not make it something as simple as a centaur spot, BDO needs at least something that requires the use of the brain. There is about 5 seconds to see it, and there is time to prepare between the appearance of the symbol on the wall and the appearance on the floor.
There is no way to randomly fail this mechanic, if you fail it, it is only your fault.
Currently on Sycrakea, the only mechanic you can randomly fail is the squid phase if you get trapped in a prison while casting a sphere.

There is no issue here, its very simple to see and they even changed it to make "simplier" even if you fail it you can bypass mechanic 1 shot (not only V).

That's the mechanic, you have to be prepared for it to look at symbols you need to see. This phase start after second vaccum or bomb (based on random) so you have plenty of time to be on place.
