This is a very good example of what we call a KarmaBomber.

Some remove gear to do it others just let them kill them repeatedly the intended effect was to force him to go red then remove him from your grind spot.

Then at this point you openly harrass the guy for over an hour with 5 others using the hooded man no less in hopes he degrades gear.

This is what PA Was in fact banning players for doing in KR. You openly admit to abusing the Karma system for your own gain and well to be honest there is or should be a ban waiting for you for this if true.

In this case just killing him while flagged should of been enough. That or DFS but again this type of behavior should not be celebrated. It takes away from an honorable dual but again I guess I come from a different generation than you.

Gear doesn't downgrade unless a mob kills you. I hope you aren't addmitting to targeted harrassment and mob feeding, but that certainly sounds like we you're saying. 

You missunderstood what happened.  I was grinding in one rotation, his friend was grinding in another.  His friend decided he wanted the rotation I was in for whatever reason so switched to where I was.  I killed his friend one time and said, hey go back to the rotation you were in.  You stay on your side i'll stay on mine.   He then called in his friend who without saying anything attacked and killed me.  I hit him with a ?, he said that I was taking a spot that his friend had been in for an hour.  I replied, no I've been here for 2 on this rotation, and that his friend had been over there for quite some time until he came over to where I was.  I rezed came back down and just continued my grind, the person wasn't after the grind spot, his friend already went back to the previous rotation.   He killed me multiple times, until he was deep red, that's when I called the guild and started fighting back.  Remember this entire time the friend he was "protecting" was not attacked a 2nd time, his buddy was grinding off where he was prior.  The person that was attacking me was attacking me for the sake of harrassment.  We offered the guild a Dec they did not accept it.  Since he was now red, I fought back, killing him most of the time because he was not able to CC me first.  He never asked for a DFS, that option was open, he never even asked for the spot, he didn't even grind mobs.  Since we found a red player, we decided to hunt him.

Your original OP post and this one are almost two totally different stories.

I am not here to judge you on the merits of your story telling or the way you write but you have to understand that these versions of the events are, " I did X woohoo" and this one is "Oh crap did i really write that?".

No one said you cant protect your rotation, nore did anyone say you were wrong for defending yourself.

The issue begins when you stated:

In the 1st version you admit you let him kill you for the specific purpose to turn him red that by itself is the pure definition of Karma Bombing. Now we add in the fact on this same statement you also say after he went Red you started to kill him so you had no issues killing him.

Elaborating on the incident really doesnt do much everyone read the 1st one and to be honest its sounds really bad.

Example:

"Then I called the boys in and we hunted him across 5 alts as he was deep red at that point.  Why he didn't just log off or switch channels I don't know.  1 Guildie was on the black robe and campgrounds, the rest of us were riding to his new location"

After the initial damage was done obviously he lost crystals (you state he lost gear but that will only happen if he loses all his crystals sloted OR picked a no sloted gem build) he then left completely disengaging from you obviously he lost especially a 6v1 lets be honest here a 6v1 is not winable for anyone in current meta you may get lucky but the fact you could kill him solo highly unlikly.

I get he was harrasing you becouse he was flagged and being dumb enough to continue to lose karma was stupid on his part but the fact that YOU let him kill you as you stated in the 1st itteration of your story Then continued to chase him AFTER he left and admited defeat.

Leads to the last:

Again are you surprised ???? This new change on both the Dec system and Karma system is really bad. But what you did is the exact thing we were trying to warn others that would happen right off after these changes. the fact that you not only Beat him down and instead of just going about your buisness you made sure to do worse that he did to you by flagging up by being a Feckless little Coward and getting all your friends to go beat on him as well after he swaped Chars and got away from you this is the type of bullying that completely pisses me off.

There was ABSOLUTLY NO NEED to do this at all other than for your own entertainment and that of your friends, if he was a red player to begin with i would get it but YOU PERSONALLY PUT HIM THERE.. You personally are responsable for your own behavior after and this conduct is absolutly discusting.
