Mystic players need to realize that the favorite gauntlet child is the Striker. If you get any significant buff, Strikers would be jealous and PA can't let that happen. Issue is that PA would have to buff Striker, but, do you really want that?

Awakening mystic is the most op class in bdo, 28 downsmashes, 30 kd combos she keeps you on the ground forever, instant tp grab you can't react, broken iframes, self pa that stacks with wizards and lingers, protected 50hours slows, vacuum that catches you from calph to valencia idk how you can ask buffs for that class oh and lets not talk about how she's unkillable evasion monster

Ranger can't be as tanky as mystic adn not even close, also without ignore resist on her grab hers are significantly more unrealible.
That is true that the male striker is stronger than the female, "acidentally" male classes always end up being stronger...
Nobody is saying Ranger is tanky. But they love to spam iframes and can unload massive damage on people, and ranger can grab to do it. Mystic cant iframe around, and definitely cant unload massive damage once they get a grab, its a much more drawn out slog.

Awakening Mystic has never meant to be a DPS class. It's an omega tank who's there to appy a debuff bar longer than my last hair on my head.
Succession isn't overwhelming. If you think it is, I suggest you to play awakening Berserk and learning the class, and if you tell it wasn't overwhelming, then I don't know.
Overall, Mystic is good the way she is. She doesn't need to be what some class are actually. If you don't enjoy her, maybe you're on the wrong class.
I don't think you know what tank means. Sure you can ignore one person if you have a high teir DP build, but thats it. Between 2 AP builds, she gets shredded just as fast as any. I played a DP build for years, and in the years since 2020 when succession and PA's obsession with accuracy came out, she has sucked. Also, if youll notice they said succ is UNDERwhelming. Please try to read before you post uneducated opinions.

I personally don't think those are extreme, but i think he is wrong in thinking that it only needs those 5 things to be fine. We're looking at a class that has been neglected on the bug fixing and PvP side of things for a long time. It just gets worse over time as PA continues to neglect those aspects when things around it continue to get stronger.

My Mystic Opinion:
I have been playing Mystic for quite a while now but with all the increase in damage, accuracy and evasion crystals/lightstones and the new classes coming out like drak, woosa and maegu its clear that the Mystic class is heavily underperforming
Awakening: This is probably one of if not the worst pvp class specs in the entire game as its only purpose is to exist try to cc and vacuum and nothing else. If you put a geared mystic against any other tuvala class while it may take forever the mystic will not be able to kill as it has no damage. The shard system already makes her a bit harder for newer players to just pick up but it feels unrewarding for those who are able to manage shards properly.
Succession: Succession while a step in the right direction to me also feels underwhelming when you compare it to the super classes like the ones mentioned above. Mystic feels like it hasn't had a change outside of a bugfix since its rework 2 years ago and if it had an indepth look at its bruiser potential its very clear to see that damage wise it just doesn't stack up. Drakania can do exactly what a mystic can + heal itself and do well in group fights.
It just feels like this class has been tossed to the side and that is why everyone is rerolling which is sad because I personally love Mystics kit and it is a very enjoyable class to play but it just seems too gear reliant and like its been pushed to only being a meme evasion tank cc bot instead of being a bruiser like striker. Striker has been getting so many buffs and changes and gets to keep good damage while Mystic suffers. Even recent changes like +9 eva to spiral cannon yet no +9% to spiral torpedo even though it serves the same purpose.
Just take a big indepth look at both specs and see this class needs buffs and fast or its just not going to be played
I just hope her awak gets a good QOL changes. I think her AOE is also the issue since almost everything in Coned-AOE. idk what to say about shards though, Mystic must have 3 shards all the time to use dragon powered attacks which does almost no damage or it will not connect.

I do believe this are the all 5 things for her to be good in PVP. Compared to striker, she is very fast but very lessly protected. Most of her damage comes from the full use of shards which striker don't have to worry about nor make to be aware of it. Reworking skill like earth spiliter to be fast will give her more flexibility on her combos. reducing the CD of Tranquility will make her more playstyle less stressful since she don't have to focus on shard 100% of time and a flat 20% ~ 15% PVP dmg buff will keep her on a good spot in PVP for a very long time.
