I was just wanting to put this down somewhere in hopes that someone would read it and maybe something would be done about it? lets get started shall we...

1. Farming - Sometimes I geta  mole to appear in the loot window, but it will not spawn a mole. this rarely happens, but has happened multiple times.. I've also had a couple times where the mole spawns but when I go to hit it, it does not take damage and I end up just letting it run away...

2. rumors of special sailors? - So I was looking at a spreadsheet about which sailors do what... and came across a google doc someone had made. In that google doc, there are 2 'special name sailors'. One of them is a Papu named "Pacuna" and the other is an otter named "Hetario". I've asked many players if the NA region has these. Most have never heard of them, and I've heard that they have been on the G-Labs server for over a year. Is this true? do any of you know what's going on with them? when we can expect them?

3. Ocean content - I've wanted to work toward my carrack, and I heard about this -movespeed% buff and it's killed my interest until  the fix is coming. a week or two ago, they (PA) acknoledged that this was indeed an oversight and will be fixed... Im just hoping this will be sooner rather than in several months... getting -10% or 20% movespeed is HUGE. I have +10% movespeed from mastery... but it's basically like I have 0. and if it's -20% it's like my +1000 mastery is actually -1000. uhg. Also, can you make carrack pearl skins hideable? I want to maybe buy one during upcoming black friday, but the current cost is steep, and the towers on the back kinda discourage me :P

4. Manors - I would love a Velia manor... maybe where the diving spot was for the sea palace whirlpools were? or purhaps right above velia/below cron castle on the cliffside? A nice view of the ocean.. watching the boats come and go.. I think this would be very very cool. 

5. Liana's upgraded bag - Im not sure why this is taking so long to be implemented from KR to NA. BUT, I still really hope we get that bag soon. Im very excited for it, and it's been a while...

6. tagged characters and trade goods - maybe I don't understand  why this is not allowed? just kind of bleh feeling ( I love this new tagged exp sharing thing though, great work on that! )

7. transport wagon - Recently I've noticed that my transport wagons, once they reach destination, have not been showing the little present above the destination once they've arrived. bug?

8. Account wide lifeskill levels? - I know, I know... It sounds very overpowered. but I think it'd be cool to tag a corsair and dive underwater and zoom around or get that bonus ship exp.... or start to go cooking/alchemy and swap to a shai... I have all my lifeskills on one char pretty much except for farming... and apparently you can't even tag a character at sea. so even if my corsair had the sailing exp for mastery, or the gathering for underwater things... I couldn't even swap if I wanted to?

9. double dipping - If a shai is cooking and is getting bonus combat exp while cooking... does her tagged character also get a bigger overall exp boost because of this?

1. common bug
2. already many sailors ingame but only 3 useful ones. No need for more useless ones.
3. Speed is ok. it doesn't work like you think. it got better, and the fix you're talking about will make it even easier. And no, you cannot hide skin. But the plating is what shows the towers and animation. You can not wear it and towers won't show, but you lose the LT buff from it.
8. They sell too much stuff for eachcharacter, weight, slots, coupouns, etc. this even if great will never happen. Like family wide gear/weapons.
you can use tagged characters at sea or wherever you want when sailing.
10. bdo would be the best game ever if only they would listen to players instead of us just being cash cows. You're sadly wasting your time here.

2. I wouldn't say it's a useless sailor at all, It only uses 5 slots, instead of 10. meaning I could hold 2 innocent, 1 tough human or smart giant and 1 special sailor 'hetario'

                    heres the info that a max 1 innocent can have is:  speed: 4.3%, acceleration: 2.0%, turn: 2.7% and brake 2.7%

the 'useless' hetario and tough human combined would give: speed: 4.3%, acceleration: 3.3%, turn: 5.1% and brake 9%

or...

another 'useless' combo with the smart giant would be:          speed: 4.4%, acceleration: 3.4%, turn: 3.1% and brake 3.1%

ALSO

IF grumpygreencricket is correct in this info: 

  • Sailor Exp is increased, depending on the number of Sailors on your ship. (Example 4 Sailors get 35% each of the Sailor XP)
    • 1 Sailor: 100% EXP
    • 2–3 Sailors: 120% EXP
    • 4–5 Sailors: 140% EXP
    • 6–7 Sailors: 160% EXP
    • 8–10 Sailors: 180% EXP

Therefore. having 4 sailors instead of 3, you would be gaining more overall EXP...

my point is, it's not useless.

3. and yes... I am waiting for the ocean movespeed debuff to be fixed so that it's easier.

Your points are useless because you have no idea about sea stuff ad talk only theories about what you read, not what you experienced (and even further from what we sailors experience).
What you read or understand is very far from what we have now (and from what sailing needs).
i don't want to be mean or offend you so i take the time to explain:

2. Regarding the sailors, we don't need new additions. We don't need any more boosts (that's why they are useless). Players have been min/maxing stuff for 6 years. And still no one has a setup that all others will envy. Those sailors would have been great if added in the first year after great expediton, not now with the current number of cabins and players progression. it's not like introducing a black star weapon to replace boss weapons.
Ships are fast enough, we need other kinds of buffs.

regarding sailor experience: it's the opposite. The amount of xp you get killing a sea monster is always the same, no matter what (xp differs from one type to another).
example with numbers:
- 10 sailors level1 in your ship: they will all share the xp you get from a monster. so each sailor gets 10% of xp.
- 5 sailors level1 5 sailors level10: each sailor gets 10% of xp meaning 50% is eaten by the ones that cannot level up.
- 5 sailors level1: each sailor gets 20% of xp from the monster.

3. it won't make a huge diff. it's already super easy. But you can play as you wish ;)
The "removed" the currents and most of the players, myself included did not notice any real change. In fact, they were not reduced but weakened. We can see a difference, but it's so tiny that it only impacts a few situations that 90% of sailors will not face.

10. wasting time/energy on forum because our voice really has 0 impact. I've been trying long enough to know that it's just meant for us to have hope and vent about game issues. no matter how many upvotes it gets, we don't get the adjustments community asks for. (let's take the sailor UI for example, or pets if you want something that concerns everyone). i'm just stating the obvious, not telling you not to try ;)
Wasting time in the game is obvious... that's bdo. i waste mine there too.

well, have fun in you sailing adventures. It's uper easy, just very time consuming, filled with rng, for no real silver income in the end.
it's chill, i like it :)
