The point is to get rewards. How to get the best rewards? By getting the best time against other players.
Are you sure you get a best rewards?
Do you have a % of a chance to get better rewards? PA hide it so it's possible it's not exist or it's so low like 0.00001%...

Technically higher tier rewards give better rewards. In reality the difference is insignificant.

Even the slowest player get's reward so what's your point.
slowest player get lower chance at getting the good rewards. point is, let there be lower chance for those who exceed time limit.

you get better chance. It is why each bundle you get is named with the rank you got.
