Straight up with how inflated and ridiculous the "endgame" spots are, boss gear need a huge buff to be able to be comparable to blackstars.

For comparison, difference of pen blackstar mainhand and c20 kzarka is 33 monster AP.

Just looking at the number of total AP we throw to monsters, including high end brackets, C20 kzarka is basically equivalent of using DUO to TRI Godr

1-2 years ago, kzarka and blackstar was comparable as people were comparing between 2 species damage vs huge monster dmg, making it possible to use Kzarka as the monster zones are still within grindable rate with moderate gear as in it's possible to grind with blackstar mainhand speed by having higher AP bracket.

However now that all recent new monster zone released require close or around hardcap AP, this is no longer possible to do so. PEN Blackstar became a requirement on top of full pen accessories or tet debo to be able to grind the new zones efficiently. Kzarka even at the same sheet AP can't compete in killspeed.

Now what my suggestion is, Kzarka would need a way higher species damage. 2 species damage on top of blackstar is way too irrelevant. We could realistically upgrade the species damage to be 15-20 above blackstar, so blackstar would be higher by 13-18 raw monster AP, while kzarka would be better 15-20 SPECIES AP that would help in AP capped zone while Blackstar will still specialize in actually being able to grind hardcap zones (those with 310 320 ap req)

The difference of PEN Blackstar vs C20 Kzarka market price right now is around 65 bil for the exact same sheet AP. With the cron price update, it will be a huge loss to get pen blackstar realistically, and there are no way in game to cover the gap like we had a year or two ago which is by just getting higher sheet AP and climbing bracket. 

Mmm, I guess your numbers are correct, however, isnt the difference between Kzarka and BS okay, given that BS is BiS PvE weapon while Kzarka is not supposed to be?

Your suggestion essentialy makes both weapons the same... More species damage may make Kzarka even better for players with capped monster damage, as species damage becomes more valuable.

I cannot make a simulation of the suggested change right now, but my fist take is that you suggest overpowering a weapon that was not supposed to be PvE BiS in the first place, making it excessively effective in lower-AP spots.

I doubt they change it. BS supposed to be a better item, the only reason why the sheet AP is same is to make the lower iq players feel that their "progress" not got devalued with the addition of blackstar, while it was significantly better in PvE ever since day1.

While your idea would defiently be an improvement in gear diversity, realistically they not gonna touch it, all you can hope is that they atleast allow a c20boss to be converted into FG weapon at a point.

Before Dehkia and Ulukita both weapons were comparable to each other. With Blackstar you were a bit better in PvE and with Boss weapon you were a bit stronger in PvP. Sadly now Blackstars are outright better!

An solution would be to revisit the high inital AP requirements for this spots and lower the AP requirements but making the mobs more tanky with increasing their HP.

since i have tripple bs, no just add more powercreep ( they already are at it ), i mean the spots are there for a reason.

Create a problem and introduce a solution...
