As long as the business model is to make money selling people unbalanced automatic victories, never. Just go play something else that is somewhat balance, if that's what you are looking for. EZ PZ.

But honestly, can you call them trash developer with a straight face, if they got their target audience? Proof of that is the money they make every month for the lack of effort they put back into the game. I hate to admit it, but they have successfully reached out to their target wannabe gamers. The ones that rather have their success and victories based purely off of dumb luck and IRL money spending. Instead of skill and merit.

Honestly we are the ones in the wrong here. For trying to force ourselves to like such a thing. My only gripe with them is how they false advertise and bait and switch to make their money. But that only due to the fact there is very little regulations in the video gaming industry today. So it's pretty much like the Wild Wild West far as video games goes.

I personally will not buy pearls and will advise others not to do so until the balance improves. Hit them in the wallet and they will be forced to do what the entire community has been asking for for years.

Not possible long as 100 to 300 Whales each spend $100,000+ each for paid progression and PvP victories. Our only option at this point. Is to reward developers that deviate from this P2W trend. By spending lots to promote their Non-P2W MMOs. It's risky because you could end up like myself after backing Star Citizen on Kickstarter back in 2013. But at this point it's our only other option. Other than just flatout quiting the MMO genre. Like a huge portion of gamers already have.

Hate to break it to you. But BDO's fast paced action combat is broken on a rudimentary level. That once you get over the flashy combat visuals. You can objectively see that it's inferior to the clunky combat in other Action based combat MMOs.

- FPS linked to directly speeding up the animations of abilities. Other action combat MMOs verify actions server side to prevent this.

- Action based combat that is heavily influenced by tab target based combat system's mechanics like RNG based combat. Other action based MMOs continue to leave more and more of their RNG combat roots behind.

- Abilities are not properly displayed because of mouse movement. In other action combat MMOs what you see is mostly what you get.

- OP mechanics like protected grabs on short cooldowns and on zoom zoom speedster classes equals auto-win against other classes. Other action combat MMOs put a cooldown and counters on CCs so you can't end in a situation where you have no control over your character.

- Gear stats exponentially scales in this game. Leading it to a point where new players are simply easy auto-win content for established players. Making situations where a 500 GS players just auto loses against a single 650+ GS player. Pushing mechanical skill into the trunk. In other action based MMOs gear stats scale logarithmically. Leaving many situations in PvP where a good level 160 player with basic starter crafted PvP gear can 1vX multiple level 810s in full on Endgame PvP Meta gear. Making PvP instances a matter of mechanical skill and tactics and push levels and gear into the trunk.

I could go on for another 10 to 15 minutes on why objectively speaking. BDO's combat is inferior to other Action Combat MMOs. But I now tired and have a trial to do with the guild. So I'll end it here.
