Either AMD or PA broke something. I've been using the preview driver for AFMF and now that the normal driver also has it, I've switched to 24.1.1 but AFMF isn't working.

Are you running remastered? Because I have no issue on my end.

fake frames wont help your character be stronger like real frames

Very true, but for those who aren't looking for that AFMF definitely helps with a smoother gameplay experience. I no longer get the dreaded BDO stuttering while its enabled.

it would be nice if they implemented at least dlss 2 and fsr3 first and then also dlss3 and fluid frames.

this game is stuck in past with technology implementations.

fsr1 looks like shit

Yeah it looks horrible, they didn't even bother to implement fsr12. Which would of been a big upgrade in visual quality. Fsr3 has fluid frames so every gpu can then access it. I'm thinking....if they implemented that then they can finally lock fps to prevent the fps exploits while still allowing players to reach higher fps for their monitors with fsr3 and afmf.

I found the DirectX11 trigger, it's TAA, you have to start the game with TAA enabled, you can disable it after but if you close the game while TAA is disabled its going to start with directX9 at the next boot. Even on Remaster.

I aways use remaster mode in full screen with TAA, and max textures quality, and max graphics settings at fulll HD.

with amd overlay turned on, it says Graphic API DX 9

Thats why not working, afmf only works on directx 11 or 12. I dont know how to make this game run on directx 11.

With other games like Starfield, Diablo 4, Battlefield 2042 it worked, so I know its not something on my end.

Im using Windows 11 with directx 12 installed.

i doupt but maybe cause you have HDR On ? i Assume you are on HDR cause of how bright are your screenshot.
Maybe switching the setting in the launcher itself could toggle the DirectX11.

And set it to Remaster/Ultra.

Here how my My Document/Black Desert Online/GameOption.txt are main setting are set.
Could be the Version, or the adaptor. i dont see anything DirectX related but that can be one of them.
version = 4
adaptor = 0
windowed = 1
width = 3840
height = 2160
graphicOption = 9
textureQuality = 0

Only full screen window mode works.

PA said they will no longer support dx9 but they still use it behind us.

The d3dx9_43.dll is in game folder bin64

Is it concern with dx9 switch running?
