This makes a lot of sense considering we are getting the new boots. Evasion is getting EVEN MORE EVASION, and DR is STILL Plateau'd. Everyone that has all the new fallen God armors has over the 400 DP. Enough is enough.
You not supposed to build such trash acessories in PvE, and any build that trades AP in PvE is useless by design, especially in bdo where you not going to die in PvE anyway once you know what to do.
Also it would not change much either way given how monster AP works, DR hardly changes anything on endgame spots.
id rather have PA either stop with 1shot trash pack or stop crystal destruction, cuz thats really the issue. If you die a lot, your silver/h will be bad aswell.

I don't know why you are emphasising the "even more evasion" point on account of the boots. It's only an 8 evasion gain over c20 muskans, oh no, 1.75% more evasion rate after they just added Visionary Elkarrs. Like, Who actually has a problem with this? I don't really get it tbh

first of all, % stats in bdo are fixed and not actually % of something you can change. 1% accuracy is ~4, 1% eva is ~5. they are based on the base stats of characters.
so with that out of the way, what is the difference between % monster damage reduction and - % monster damage? essentially the first one doesnt exist. because there is no base stat that could be applied %-wise. If you look in your "my stats" window, you see "Monster damage reduction rate" in the middle bootom. and that is what cron meal and co declare as "damage from monsters -%". Its the same.
cant see that. the system is so complicated, you wont get to print it on an item desciption and have it work the same. and reworking it from the ground up is too much work for a bit of clarity. what pa tries to do with this is to give you individualized progress, regardless of equipment. sheet stats are simple and you cant give a new player the my stats window to deal with.
maybe one could simplify it a bit, but for what? never change a running system. at least we have a good understanding on how it works now. the defs decided that if you have 260ap a gain of 9 ap should feel huge. and if you have 309, they dont want you to feel a big difference. its non linear progress.
