Okey I will be honest and say it Getting mats for the Carrack is just pure and utter crap at least for me  Bartering is as fun as watching paint dry and one would say why do you need a Carrack at all if your not bartering or hunting blue whales ?  Just a nice looking ship I want to have when im out just sailing or fishing. 

And I honestly wish there where better way to get the mats for does who don´t like to barter.   Yeah yeah I know we got Daily quests but common 3 per day and the deal is go out in your slow ass Caravel and murder some fish mobs and turn in.  Also I mean let say I need does 180 fabrics  it means I need to log in every day for 60 days straight to get 180 of them.  I mean maybe people that don´t play any other game at all will log in every day and do it.  Yes I know you can also use Crow coins but yay how fun is that trying collect what 4-5nillion coins and you get 80 per day from a quest if you don´t want to spend hour up on hours on bartering. 

Im not saying it should be easy or super fast im just saying give me

other ways.  Like lets say I need to go out and gather 90000 flax  then turn them in to fabric and then heat that with some Moon esence or some shit to turn them in to Moon Vein Flax Fabric. 

Also lets not get started on the +10 Epheria ship parts I need and what hell it is to get them and get them to +10.   I don´t want to spend 1 year to get a boat I may not use every single day. 

And before you talk about no don´t make it easy becuse this ship is suposed to be rare and hard to get.  Then let  me ask this you think it´s more important that a ship is rare than let say godr ayed weapons ? or Fallen god armor shit that is basicly end game gear atm that any one can easly obtain if they know how to make easy silver. 

Also let me get EVE online as an example.  You have the Titan ships which is like End all be all space ships in eve that take litterly months for people to be built basicly to the point you need a whole alliance to build them becuse the amount of stuff need to build them all that hard work and yet people can buy them if they are sapce rich and skipp all that hard work and no one complain about it.  I mean no one complains about all the hard work they did to build they titan and people can just buy them.  Reason no one complain is becuse hell yeah I got stpudli rich selling my Titan. 

As I said don´t make it super easy to get the Carrack but give me other options to get it that is maybe more fun for me like gather logs and flax.  I mean i love life skilling but Bartering is so damn boring to the point I rather watch paint dry to have fun.   Games are about having fun and enjoy everything it offers. 

i think the problem is that barely any1 bothers with sea content and PA has not constant stream of complaints for this issue.

I despise barter so much, in my case I feel like it has ruined what little sailing content there is. Looking back I don't even know how in the world I went through it and got my ship. Its bad enough burning out on something you do enjoying but burning out on something you hate, I haven't really been able to touch it since making the blue boat parts for my carrack which aren't even all at +10. 

Would it kill them to let vell's bundle give us 2000 coins. that's 4000 a week, I could work with that over the long run. People who barter daily can make anywhere from 5-6k depending on rng. The claws of the waves you get from sea monsters selling for 1 coin is like an insult, they could up that to 15-20. 

I would like the new boat panokseon, but I'm sitting at 17k out of 150-160k needed to make the boat and +10 green parts. I just refuse to barter much anymore, every once in awhile I refresh and see if Hakoven has something worth running out to but I'll be darned If I'm gonna make trips out to Margoria for them. Like the op I would rather hack 100k logs and process them or something than ever touch barter. I rather enjoyed acquiring and processinig the materials needed like with the sailboat and frigate. I don't know why they had to change to this barter method or why they couldn't accomodate both.

on a side note, how the heck barter comes out liike 3 years after sailing and you can already be guru in barter within the first year but it was still impossible for anyone to have guru sailing at the time. Sailing content to me is just in a slump. Someone made a thread of a bunch of sailing qol that would be awesome if it saw the light of day.
