As someone that has vested into Ashes all I'm going to say is it won't be the game for you if you can't take what they did to the PvP here in BDO. Grass is not always greener if you catch what I'm saying.

There is punishing, then there is what they do to negative karma players.  Something something cruel and unusual punishment.

The posibility of losing over a years worth of progress for causeing someone a minor inconvenience is cruel and unusual.  

Add to the fact that there is no way to deal with the other side of griefing.  There is no need to DFS now, but if someone rolls up on a spot that is occupied, they just start grinding anyways because there is no consequences.  Right now if a spot has someone else, the person that shows up has 2 other guild servers, and a 3rd server that they can swap to on a 5 minute Cool Down, they have Marni realm, they have a dozen other rotations at most spots, but instead they just start grinding over the person already there.  That person then has to swap servers, rotations, or burn marni time.  If they do anything to the person who showed up, ask them to find another rotation, or ask for a DFS, the forums call the person that was already there a "griefer".  Worse if that person flags on the person they risk crystals, lightstones, and gear downgrades, also every one of their alt characters that have no gear are now at risk.  

At this point, the devs should remove the entire pvp flag system. Keeping it seems silly as no one wants open world pvp to begin with, else they would use the Arsha channel.

Tragic as it is but no one seems to support the open world concept.

The ONLY reason people don't OW PvP anymore is because of the strict penalties.  No Arsha is not a "solution" either.  Saying such is dishonest.  The opposite can be said and be just as incorrect.  If you don't want to PvP do not level past 49.

Ah that cheesy statement again. Then you can easily say if you want to grief a non-flagged player then be prepared to take on the karma that comes with it.

The same penalties for going red have always been in game, its just that you had the ability to bypass it by other means. Now you have to deal with the intended consequences for your actions. But it's not like they removed the ability to just kill someone, you can still do it. It's just that players like yourself and others were never about that pvp life. Which is why you complain about the changes and are deathly afraid of Arsha.

I remember hearing all the typical stories about karma bombing and how magically the other player forced the other to go red. Now suddenly you don't hear it anymore since the other player is afraid to go red due to consequences. Funny, isn't it? 

I confess I don't PvP much at all, but my understanding is that if both players are flagged, there is no karma loss.  Am I wrong?

Also if both sides were fine fighting they'd just duel.

sounds to me like you should switch to Cal 2. we have world pvp everywhere and plenty of red players on the server. Either youre hiding or you aint doin something right

Idk about you guys but whenever I go Arsha I always find players that want to pvp...I don't lose karma while doing it. All I see about the players that don't like the new changes to pvp is that they can't bully the other player anymore and can't abuse the karma system anymore. 

"Don't level past 49" lmao...skills require lvl 61 so this is absurd unless the char that is 49 is trading, fishing or bartering.

With the marni changes (which are very good now) you can farm in piece but I see that you don't want that @op(of the discussion and not @centaurs4life) or change the server (and if the guy that follows you to the other channel you can just record and report)
