Oh really now?
Well to all new adventures out there, it's interesting how I have managed to hit 281ap / 347dp in my almost 5 years of playing now without any need to buy P2W items. The amount of crons and artisans you get given out for free now is a massive help so there really is no need to buy them in my opinion. Just save up all your free failstacks, crons, artisans and try and enhance OR sell everything and just buy your gear off the market which is entierely realistic nowadays.
If I can do this, anyone else can too!
Not so impossible to overcome now is it ;)
If the Dev's only cared about making money, then why did I see such a passionate performance at the recent Calpheon Ball? Surely if they only cared about milking people dry, there would be no community interaction at all, all new areas would be paid for expansions and the cash shop would be even more expensive......oh let's throw in a monthly subscription to play also! :)

Don't listen to ANON who made this post. He's sour that he can't win with a few easy key strokes or cheat his way to victory.
I'll tell you why BDO is the best game on the market right now.
BDO is open world. The game is played by millions or players actively. The admins pay close attention to activities and do weekly updates. Cheaters get smashed hard, so they dont ruin the game. Combat is like nothing you've seen before, its amazing. 20+ playable classes. There is always something to do, you will never get bored. If you want a game where you can work your ass off and feel good about your progress with planning and execution... welcome to BDO.
In the current climate of the gaming world it is hard to find a game that is in constant development that is so successful. I dont know how PA has done it, but they are pretty great.

3 Statements where made
#1 Class balance is a joke
100% true and widly known by the community. In fact it's been this way for years. There have been complaints about Succession Wizard in group for months and complaints about Warrior in 1v1 for a long time as well.
#2 P2W is impossible to overcome
While this is not entirely true, the game is massively plagued by P2W advantages. It's been that way since the release in Korea and it's only gotten worse. You don't want to argue against the entire wall of paid advantages.
#3 Dev only care about making money
There is plenty of evidence of this and it's not really worth defending. Instead of a cosmetic cash shop BDO offers a massive variety of heavily P2W items, permanent boots, monthly subscriptions, pay walled content etc.
Yup! And I adressed 2 with my opinions :)
Some of those statements are blatantly false or miss informed though.

It's well known that things like a "free daily log in reward" are not free, but marketing practices to keep you engaged. The gifts are often samples designed to entice you into purchases. This is a common practice across multiple industries. So your statements are really a bit deceptive and granting Pearl Abyss far to much.
What you said is akin to "Why would they ever reduce their prices and have sales?". I think we all know what "sales" are for in a business setting.

Yet nothing I said is deceptive or false, just factually true.
There would be no community interaction at all = Well there is, quite a lot in fact since the transfer process, just head over to the official PA Discord.
All new areas would be paid for expansions = All updates are free, and not paid for
The cash shop would be even more expensive = As far as I am aware they have never raised the price of an item, only offered sales as you mention
Monthly subscription = Also not a thing. You could argue Value Pack's yet not buying one of those does not block access to the game. If my sub ran out on ff14, I would not be able to play it.

The definition of 'free' to me means you do not have to pay money. I don't see it asking me for money anywhere to recieve these log in rewards? And if we are all playing the game anyway, what's the issue with them 'keeping us engaged?'
If I get given free items just for playing the game as I would anyway, you aren't gonna see me complain!

Well that gear is far from high end game gear though(it's basically an entry level gear), so despite palying 5year, you still couldn't reach the level whales getting in a half-one year.
Sad.

This level of gear allows to access more than 95% of grind areas comfortably, therefore it hardly constitues entry level tier of gear.
