This exact mind set I'm talking about. It has nothing to do with not having direct communication with the devs or not. Many of the changes we ask for KR, RU, and JP players are also asking for, all of their versions of BDO are self published by PA so there no middle man like kako in the way of translating for their playerbase. An another note it great if you like the PVE but PA activitly advertises this game as a competitive PVP focused game. Telling them to ignore the players they choose to market the game for is just flawed logic. PA themselves have said "This is a PVP focued game an that while there is PVE only content we focue most of our efforts on improving PVP based content." These are words from PA. Infact when I make tickets and show them ingame death threats I get from players ingame their response is always "We aim to encourage our players to have a PVP competitive outlook on our game. An therefore see nothing wrong with the messages this user send ingame.". This is why despite the consistent request from players asking for PVE only servers and instanced grind zones PA activitly ignore that feedback maybe be cause they choose to, but most likely because than they couldn't advertise this game as a PVP competitve fouced game.
So I'm sorry you don't like PVP. But when the devs say it a PVP focused game advertise it as a PVP focused game and expect PVP focued players to play the game than you should expect the developers to also address issues players have with PVP in their PVP focused game.
Could you provide your source? I'd like to read it. I am also against adding PVE only servers to Black Desert Online.
Because let's face it, outgearing people is not linked to skill, or playtime. It's linked to RNG. And the sooner you realize this and the less you care about it, the more enjoyment you can get out of this game.
Well, it used to be true, but when the new central market appeared, we gained the ability to buy Bis items at the highest enhancement level, with only a few exceptions.
So if you find a way to make money while having fun, you basically have a way to get your gear.
3 Statements where made
#1 Class balance is a joke
100% true and widly known by the community. In fact it's been this way for years. There have been complaints about Succession Wizard in group for months and complaints about Warrior in 1v1 for a long time as well.
#2 P2W is impossible to overcome
While this is not entirely true, the game is massively plagued by P2W advantages. It's been that way since the release in Korea and it's only gotten worse. You don't want to argue against the entire wall of paid advantages.
#3 Dev only care about making money
There is plenty of evidence of this and it's not really worth defending. Instead of a cosmetic cash shop BDO offers a massive variety of heavily P2W items, permanent boots, monthly subscriptions, pay walled content etc.
You could argue that PA took game development over because these three items you pointed out are destroying the game.

PA was in charge of the game development since the very start. Kakao was only a publisher, but they did put into the game exactly what PA wanted...

Ya um PA the one that designed these three elements in BDO. After all KR version of this game has always been published by PA and these same three problems exist in the KR version so you may want look up this game's history a bit more.
I'll be positively surprised if PA will invest more money back into BDO now with Kakao gone. If anything, it could be less, since Kakao had nothing to lose by demanding PA spends more of their earnings back into the game, while PA obviously loses short term gains if they invest back in their own game.
Not holding my breath. The rapid-fire releasing of new classes is telling me they know exactly where their paycheck comes from, and everything else is secondary.
I want to chime in here. This is the best single player RGP with other people!
If you have no interest in PVP at all you will have a blast.
If you come to BDO for PVP take your time don't rush it your character isnt going to go anywhere.
Have fun enjoy your free time because you most likely deserve it.
Quoted: "281 AP was good 2-3 years ago. If you're not 300ap+ you're behind."
That's pretty bad sorry to say for a player that is playing this game for 5 years ugh.
I'm already close to this (AP wise, working on DP now) and I've been at it for about a year, which also includes multiple characters I've played on season with full PEN Tuvala gear (armors, weapons, accessories).
I get your point that it is much easier now to get gear that allows a player to participate in "end game" content.
But I have to say, you are still going to struggle with TRUE END GAME, which means you are going to try for FULL PEN accessories or even a PEN blackstar weapon/armor, not to mention ugh, dead god. This means that this game is pretty much a dead-end for you if you even want to be somewhat be competitive or "stand a chance" against geared people like this.
I'm happy with where I am as I played this game on a mostly casual basis, but I think I've about hit the limit of investing more time into this. Don't really want to imagine trying to get PEN accessories or PEN blackstar or even Dead God and make the total sum of my experience, MASOCHISTIC.
Soon as some next gen mmorpgs start coming out, its adios~

The point is that in order for you to buy those PEN accessories or PEN blackstar weapon/armors or even dead-god, you'll have to shell out at leat 100billion or so per piece.
This means you'll either make BDO a JOB by grinding your life away for months to get 1 piece of gear or you will almost assuredly P2W your way to this gear content, which validates the original complaint.
