there's always something to criticise, theres always room for improvement, I could have made the post a whole lot better but I already spent an hour plus writing and brainstorming. I said "I have faith in the community, lets make an actual discussion, hoping one of you can tear my post apart and identify specifically what is wrong here and help me out". I will do what you said, my intentions was always to re-write this post but include everyone's thoughts/ideas/suggestions and not only mine. I just wanted to set the mold and let us continue to poor the clay in together as we see fit. Appreciate the response nonetheless.

That's all. BDO is not a game that revolves around dungeons/raids, and the ones we have is kinda shite on top of it. They are not fun, but annoing, and even the reward is meh.

If they would hardbuff the rewards then ppl would do it, but on the other hand it would be forced content and PA don't want that either.

But it was already detailed years ago even before they added the first dungeon, they was just as usuall not smart enough to listen to those that are much more experienced than they ever will be. At this point just let it rot in peace like the countless other dead content that they wasted developer time on for no reason of any kind.

To be fair, nobody in this game plays this game cause it's "fun".

If we're being truly honest, 90% of the game itself is pretty boring. You farm for hours and hours killing the exact same mobs, you can't tell me that's fun....

The progress on the other hand is fun and the progress can only come through with money. People do dungeons for the money from the rewards, I agree buffing the rewards itself would make dungeons more appealing.

Dungeon mechanics are "fun" enough themselves, however like Ascenn "the MINIMUM rewards you can get are quite demoralising if you get unlucky". I did dungeons the other day and I was in a party of people that had never done it. It took us around 4h to complete the dungeons and they all got good rewards while I got mostly Narc's and other low value accessories. THAT right there is demoralising and anti-fun. No one wants to do dungeons for so long and get rewards that you could afford by grinding for 15 minutes.

I disagree, I know tons of people who enjoy mutiple aspects of the game, obviously there's the hardcore players and gearlords who enjoy pvp. Yes, I do agree its easy to get burnout due to the repetitve grind this game has to offer and at times its not fun, especially when you make little to no gains. But, like you said progress is in fact "fun" this is what drives a majority of the community imo. However, I want to bring the "fun" aspect to dungeons, but I need help in order to do that, we know there's a issue, so why can't we do something about it? Don't assume PA won't make changes when we haven't even tried to get our foot in the door. I completely had the wrong impression because I thought we could make this a collaborative effort on this thread with people pitching their thoughts and comments on what they PERSONALLY would like to see themselves. Besides the whole "just buff the rewards". That doesn't address the fact that dungeons in its innate state is unfun, buffing the rewards is again only for selfish gains, while I want to make a change that not only helps the player in his own personal progress but able to interact and socialize and build rapport with his/her fellow adventurers through engaging and interactive content. "Fungeons", I like that, im keeping it.

yes I did infact write this nonsense on 0 sleep at 4am in the morning, which like I said I now regret it, I should have saved it and worked on it over time instead of pushing it out in an unfinished state, because I wanted to garner as much feedback as possible. Yes, BDO may not be a game that revolves around it, sure, but that's the problem, we're kinda just doing lets just 'sweep it under the rug' effect going on here imo. Why not take out the trash while we still can? Not saying dungeons are garbage, but there is a lot of tuning that needs to be done to actually make it viable. I dream of days where I can log into the game and just see tons of ads of people trying to run Att/Yola/Syca/. Public queues filling up, guilds taking newcomers through it, competitive hardcore runs. "First they think you're crazy, then they start to believe you". I know my vision, might call it silly, or a waste of time, but I am a dreamer, and dreams don't come true without hardwork. I won't let it rot in peace, im sorry, I can't. If they completely take out dungeons sure, but as long as they are a part of the game, I will keep my foot on this gas pedal. I apologize to those who disagree with me but, I won't change my stance, I want them to be FUN for everyone and I'll keep working until my voice can be heard, thank you for your time.
