How do you guys feel about Sage? Today it received some buffs. Any 1 noticed any difference? :)
It still feels kinda slow to me
I'm gonna test and probably make my black star weapons on him instead of the Valkyrie I had created. Even if he is good which I suspect will be the case, he's still a place holder for me until I see a Dwarf.
Glad they buffed him though, he needed it.
SLOWWWWWW :< I love concept of this class but for me is too slow :< I can only pray that his awakening will be much faster... 🙏
The class as of right now is really nice, still has some room for some QoL changes but overall, satisfying to PvP and PvE with
Loved the class before this week's update...so can't complain. Know some feel it's too slow still but imho making it any faster would push it into succ wiz broken levels.
If they done nothing else for Sage succession outside of adding the two skills from awakening and the rabams I would be pretty happy. The class feels really good and like Jenisiz said, if you speed the class up too much you end up being Succ Wiz 2.0 and we sure as hell don't need that.

Let them take dmg and give more speed in awa :)

That's a fair request. Split TP and Instacast along with what is being casted are the main, imho, reasons why Succ Wiz is so powerful at this time. Giving Sage a similar setup, albeit less devastating damage and protection on skills seem like their intent. Then save the faster attacks for Awa with less set up needed.
I went into RBF with Sage and I said "okay last game" more than 5 times. I am having with him for sure.
I don't think he is as slow as he looks. I know, I know, that sounds like an oxymoron, but hear me out.
He is designed so that you have to think about what you're doing with him. He's not a "dive into the pack and faceroll to nuke" type of character. When you can cast half a skill and teleport to where you want it to finish, and then teleport to somewhere to launch the next skill, and then teleport again to have the skill land, it's pretty decent speed. If you manage your stamina correctly, you can continue to do it until your fingers get tired. Just watch your iFrames, SAs, and FGs. If they catch you, you're toast.
