----- EXPLANATION -----
Ever since Pearl Abyss found out some people were abusing Rhutum Outstation [Elvia] by grinding 2 portals at the same time, they implemented a "fix" for this.
Their "fix" was not to remove 1 of the 2 portals that they so poorly designed to be close to each other but instead they just made it so that if you leave the circle around the portal ALL MOBS DISPAWN and you just waste your buffs while waiting for the new mobs to spawn. This not only nerfed the 2 portals grind as intended, as it also BROKE THE ENTIRE SPOT making Rhutum Outstation [Elvia] "ungrindable".
For the ones to whom the answer to the question "Why would you leave the circle?" is not as clear as it should, I need to leave the circle to be able to put the trash loot on my horse because if I put the horse inside the circle the mobs will eventually kill it since they spawn everywhere randomly.
Now you ask "Why not using maids?" and the answers are quite simple too. Firstly, why would I need to spend more money on the game just because Pearl Abyss can't do one thing right without breaking other things in the game? Secondly and lastly, I have around 20 maids and the management is just unbearable. It was going fine at first but I needed to stop every 10 minutes to put the trash on the storage. The moment I forgot to put the loot in the storage once, I could not place the loot in the storage anymore because of maids cooldown.
Can we please have a proper fix of Rhutum Outstation [Elvia]?
It doesn't make sense that I am getting punished from grinding my favorite spot in the entire game because other players abused something that Pearl Abyss failed to design properly themselves nor should I be punished and have to waste my money on storage maids because Pearl Abyss couldn't come up with a fix that my 12yo brother could have thought of.
It's a shame to see such an interesting spot (depends on player's preference) be thrown in the trash bin like that because the "fix" didn't fix anything, it just broke it instead.
I am also mourning the loss of Rhutum, I used to like it there. Too bad the abuser-optimizers have to ruin everything (similarly Saunil camp, Star's end pillars...) and PA often reacts in a way that buries the spot into oblivion. For a little while, its seemed there might be spots on par with Orcs silver-wise and the midgame grind could have much more variety, now that hope is gone again.
If they only removed the double-portal, kept the base trash loot as it was, and kept the respawn timers, the spot would be in a perfect balance: silver-wise similar to Giants and right above Orcs, since Rhutums have higher DP requirements than Orcs.

Yeah, it's very sad. They could have fixed the spot by removing one of the two portals but instead they decide to nuke the whole place and to just make it so nobody can grind in there at all unless you do excessive maids management...
The worst thing about all of this is that Pearl Abyss screws up by not putting some thought into their game's design and then they overreact and punish EVERYONE because one or two people exploit something they screwed up themselves lmao.
Hopefully this topic gets bumped and they actually reconsider a proper fix for Rhutum Elvia!
How was it abuse anyway?
People were making bank from significantly easier grind zones than this.

Not going to dwell too much on this question because that is besides the point of this feedback.
People exploited a bug that PA was unaware of. The spot went from being an average grinding spot to being the top grinding spot in the game silver per hour wise which wasn't in PA's plans.
They developed the game, they decide how the game is intended to be played, what is "wrong" and what is "right". No point for us to be arguing whether exploiting bugs is "right" or "wrong" once more.
I'll end this out of topic conversation with the main reason as to why it may been seen as something wrong:
• "Exploiting is considered cheating by some in the gaming community and gaming industry, due to the unfair advantage usually gained by the exploiter." - Wikipedia on video game exploit

how are the players at fault when PA made the spot and made the "fix" dont hate the player hate the incompetent devs

You are going out of topic again. This is not about whether the players are "right" or "wrong" for exploiting a videogame mechanic that was not planned out by the devs to be exploited.
You all come and go but you don't even bump the post to try and make the message get to the GMs and PA itself to see if it gets fixed. Can we focus on the actual intention of the post which is having a really fun spot that is now broken properly fixed?
This is literally the reason why player feedback never gets to developers. By the time the message is delivered, it has already become something that is not even related to the initial message whatsoever...
Stop calling it abuse.
The zone was designed poorly from the very beginning and it's the dev's fault.
Don't blame the players because they didn't want to wait for elites to spawn. Because there was a long delay.
Would you wait around and waste time, or move to another supply crate area?

Regarding your final question, I have always done 1 portal. I don't like the 2 portals area, I just stay in the portal close to where the node manager outside of Elvia is located. Yet again, this is besides the point of the feedback post...
If you read the post correctly I am blaming Pearl Abyss the most for designing the spot poorly to begin with and for punishing everybody for something they screwed up themselves so you can stop posting the same thing over and over. Once again, the main intention behind this post is to request a decent fix for the spot since it's broken at the moment and NOT to discuss who's wrong to begin with.

Okay, lets leave this be then, the spot should have been designed not to allow double-portals in the first place. Maybe I am a bit salty, since almost everyone who I met there and who were using this exploit were also outstanding assholes for some reason. Let's focus on how the spot can be brought back to life...
