Let us just remove gear alltogether and make the entire game just use AoS gearing system instead that gives you everything for free instantly!
I am sick, literally SICK of having to actually play the videogame and put effort into my vertical gear progression in order to be able to engage with all contents in the game, it SUCKS and I really dont think players that spent thousands of hours and dollars/euros of their hard earned IRL money to get where they are at should have ANY advantage over me! (I installed this game yesterday)
I dont want to have to go out of Heidel and venture into the advertised VAST OPEN WORLD this game apparently has to offer to work for my gear, I EXPECT the game to let me do everything from day 1 without any effort put in from my side!
obvious sarcasm aside: suggestions like these and PA (partially) listening to them and catering to this type of player is why the game has lost ALOT of its meaning and why lots of veteran players (especially from the PvP community) are leaving. I still fully expect Pearl Abyss to continue down this path until the game has completely transitioned to yet another completely meaningless lobby based queue up game just like alot of other "MMOs"
Why don't OP just play the game of hes type ?I'm even know the name of it ! - Shadow Arena! oh wait they shut it down because its have like 12ppl peak.
OP is 2016 account and asking for free gear, someone please explain me how you can play a gearing game for 7 years and ask for free gear.

The suggestion is that people have more options, not that they remove gear at all lmfao.
The OP suggested that there is ONE RBF arena where people can fight with the same gear and enjoy PVP without getting obliterated in 2 seconds as soon as they spawn (I do normal RBF and I enjoy using my gear but I don't mind this, I feel like it could be really good for introducing gearlets to PVP without getting gear checked).
Regarding BA, I feel like the suggestion is kind of pointless because you already got BA Trial gear so no point on having RBF gear when Trial gear itself is around the same.
Regarding the game modes, I would actually like to see some of them implemented. Overall, nice suggestion!

As someone who finds mmos incredibly boring and repetitive (I am only here for the combat) I sure would love if there were more content that allowed people to skip the tedious work-like MMO elements in the game: grinding, life skilling, questing, adventure logs, making elixers. This stuff is literally anti fun. Just giff PVP combat.

The balance is you grinding your gear and get on the same gearscore as those players. Obviously it's not going to be balanced if you're expecting to be able to fight a +700gs player on tuvala gear bruh that's the whole point of progression in this game...

I mean even if it was gear equalized, you'd still have the classes unbalance (sage is one of the unbalanced ones) for sure but capped RBF would give you the opportunity to fight non broken classes and test different engages, different counters, etc... Pretty much it'd allow you to get a better feel and introduction of your class.
I don't agree with the consumables part though. If you want to do PVP content, the bare minimum that's expected from you is for you to use PVP buffs and you don't need full elixir rota to beat someone on full elixir rota if you're on the same gear and both on classes that are not broken. Sure elixirs do give you a great advantage but on somewhat equal terms, you'd still be able to kill someone with full elixir rota.
For example if you fight succ DK vs succ DK on same gear score but one with elixir rota and the other one with draughts and PVP buffs, you'd still be able to beat the DK on full elixir rota though but it would depend on your skill. After all, the game is mostly skill based even with some classes being completely unbalanced.

I don't understand why you people want to be equal but still want to abuse the fk out of the new players and clame it will be better for them ,the new rbf if ever happen will be same as the old one witch i prefer at least i can use my gear which i work for.
I do understand you though you want new mod to try new things which is good more pvp content
