I honestly don't get the whole point PA made about "The value of being a PEN Artina Sol owner is gonna go away" when they talk about Blackstar Sol.

I have 2 300+fs, 3 200+fs and with the amount of 100+fs PA gives us through events you can literally get a PEN Artina Sol 30 minutes after leaving Season (granted you have a bit of silver on the market).

Bossgear-Level Items have lost every bit of value since God-Level Items and Jetina. On top of that the Artina Sol is made artificially "rarer" or "increased in value" by being the only piece of gear that you cannot enhance through Jetina (which is just another stupid restriction put on the Shai class to make their lives harder).

No Shai player will care about their PEN Artina Sol suddenly having "no value" anymore. Imo it never had any value outside of 15% better buffs, which is mostly only relevant for group content, which this game has almost none of. PEN Artina Sol only ever had artificial value created by it not being sellable and not being enhanceable through Jetina.

And now coming to the "upgraded" Artina Sol shown in the Global Lab update.... What kind of joke is that?

- It's still missing the 10AP from the PEN Boss -> PEN Blackstar upgrade.

- It's still missing the 12 Accuracy from the PEN Blackstar

- It only has 35 Monster AP instead of 10 Species AP and 25 Monster AP

- And it doesn't even give 1-2% more on the buffs

Essentially letting us buy/use 20-30b worth of Caphras alone (depending on how hard the prices increases) for Monster AP that we can get for ~400m by just buying 3 Predation and 1 Iridescent Lightstones, that is absolutely useless in any 290AP and below Grind Zone.

I understand that this change was aimed at the newly released Dehkia and Ulukita Grind Zones, but I have not heard Shais complain about not being able to grind there. It actually is the other way around that I've heard from Shai players that those Grind Zones are surprisingly easy to grind and yet instead of just giving us an actual Blackstar Sol, that literally every Shai player would love, we just get an upgrade that no Endgame Shai asked for or really needed and keep Shai's Midgame in the absolutely horrible state it has been in since release.

Even funnier is that in the same Global Lab Patch Wizard gets 300-600% more damage in his skills for free.

And we have to pay 20-30b for 0-10% more damage depending on the Spot.

The Artina Sol is a joke itself. To me it was the only way to make a litte more money, because with pen u get more attack and cast speed from our buff, wich is noticable. BUT to get the Artina Sol up to pen i had more than 40 tries, build two over 300 FS and got it finally to pen with my 334 FS. This thing cost me a lot memory fragments, crons, big failstacks and my nerves, while everyone got it second try with like 112 FS or something. Contacted more than once the support, even they said i am on a "big streak of bad luck".

Yes, they should give the possibility to make it to pen with jetina quest. And it should be purchaseable via market. Even copyable with marni fuel. 

Just implement the Blackstar Sol and give shai players with the PEN Artina Sol a free exange coupon to PEN Blackstar Sol and then is every shai player "happy".

And the "buffs" from the global labs update are a joke itself too. Feels more like an again not needed PVP nerv.

I am just sitting here and wonder, if my main class ever gets any buffs or some opportunity to defend my spot in PVP.

Agree 100%.  Artina Sol is the equivilent of a Dande awakening weapon (same enhancement, same cron stone cost etc).  So if you change the word V artina sol to V Dande, then the note that PA wrote, doesn't make sense since that is exactly what happened to all players (besides shai) when Black star came out.

All I want is to play shai and be able to tag the new cool classes, but I cannot unless I coupon my awakening weapon and tag the other two, or roll a full set of separate weapons for the shai (which I did, so now I have 2 Pen BS MH instead of progressing my other gear).

Ways this could be fixed:

Make this new 30b gem convert the PEN Artina sol into a UNSELLABLE PEN black star sol, so that shai players can tag other classes. Give the black star the same bufffs as artina sol for the talent tree, but also the additional black star buffs.

I am sorely disappointed that we are crippled in enjoying the systems int his game merely for RP reasons.

Do you need garmoth's heart for it anyway? Not that it even matters when it feels impossible to enhance to PEN.

I remember a while back they said how there couldn't be gear tag with a sol because the item is different, the technology isn't there. So now it's confirmed that this entire time they could of simply given Shai a Blackstar awakening weapon just like everyone but they continue to choose not to. What a bunch of f**king liars. 

This is so stupid. Nobody care about the status of a "V Artina Sol" Absolutely no one. WE WANT TO BE ABLE TO TAG. 

Here is what I propose. Allow us to smash an Awk Black Star (from any class, hell melt it to get the black star essence or somehting) into our Sol. So if you smash a V Awk Black star and a Pen Awk Sol you will get a V Black Star Sol. Make it so its a family bound item so it can't be sold on the market. Make it so you can smash any eqivelent rank Black star with a Sol. So you could smash two tets together and you have a IV Black Star Sol that has the same enhancement rate as a Black Star. 

Its not ideal but this would "preserve" the stupid idea that V Sol's are a status symbol by still not being able to buy it on the market. Its litterally the equivelent of forcing Shai's to throw 200 Billion into a trash can but hey at least we will be able to tag so I will happily pay it. 

Not only do Shai players need to pay the cost of caphras to upgrade it, they still need to get a normal PEN black star that they can use on a tagged character + have spare awakening weapons exchange coupons for them to change it every time they want to tag another character, ah lets not get started with Garmoth heart...

Absolute madness.

Then once your out of coupons, you do as I did and click a second PEN bs main hand and offhand so that you have a full set of shai weapons separate from another class which you can tag (and don't tag armors so you can use them on shai) because you want to experience the new classes they come out with, or play something in pvp 1v1 or grind areas that shai suck at like tungrad ruins.

Then also get garmoth hearts for all those additional weapons.

After failing PEN Sol for way to many times, im giving up :(

Please just let me tag a Shai with my PEN Blackstar Awakening... i beg...
