YES! thank you PA for recognisizing how desperatly we needed this missing ap but please dont stop there literally nobody is gatekeeping the artina and what about our missing accuaracy? It served us well but its time to let the artina go now.                                                                                                                                                                                                         

Well I guess PA should never have released blackstar because oh no the poor players with pen boss weapons that aren't best in slot anymore.

When are they going to rip off the bandaid? Or are we going to keep getting screwed because they have to invent some new convoluted system every time new content is released involving awakening weapons so Shai can catch up...?
And how many years will that take?

Blackstar Awakening Weapon arrived in Black Desert Online in a patch on Jan 20, 2021.
It's currently November 2023.

Give us a real taggable Blackstar Sol.

Stop gatekeeping Shai.

Literally this, also added the 12 accuracy to OP since I forgot to mention it at the moment even tho it is implied via blackstar. Knowing PA, they'd forget too, OH WAIT! They already did! :D 

There is nothing more PA than responding to a problem years late, not understanding the issue at all, and then implementing changes that achieve nothing at all or make things worse.

And what a convoluted solution they chose too.. this is a lot of game design gymnastics to give Shai some of PEN Blackstar bonuses while still preventing them from reasonably tagging like every other class in the game.

For Shai to be classified as an "enjoyment class", PA sure goes out their way to make them the least enjoyable class in the game. 

What they think is enjoyment is obviously not what we think it is.

I wasn't aware misery was part of enjoyment but PA seems to be great at adding that to the Shai class rather than improving it.

PA has their favourite classes, if you are not one of those, you get sh***ed on.

imo the Sol "improvements" are worse than doing nothing. The change will allow PA to stamp the issue as fixed and ignore it for a few more years and yet it achieves barely anything.

Especially when they even announced that Sol would eventually get some kind of alternative when Jetina PEN was added.

This change is so much more work than necessary. It would be far simpler to just let us trade our existing PEN Artina Sol for a TET Blackstar Sol. Let music buff upgrades stop at TET with PEN only having personal stats upgrade. Allow Blackstar Sol to be traded on CM.

At least, thats one solution thats easier to implement and solves all of the above issues. As Catillion already pointed out, the logic of "its not fair to people with BiS" does not add up. By that standard no Blackstar weapons or Deboreka accessories should ever have been added to the game.

I do agree that it is unfair that some people were forced to spend absurd amounts to upgrade their Sol to BiS(Bonnie @ 120b 😭) only to have it degraded to a value of ~12b but that is the unfortunate cost of bad game design. As Cat said, rip the bandaid off imo

Decent suggestion and the game moves on, we've moved on from a lot of items in the game—witches earrings, manos ruby earrings, offin tet, etc. I'm not saying we should seek to move on often, but I agree that the time has come to retire the outdated thinking that is hurting players and the game overall. Brassica's post above is an excellent suggestion that may work. PA, please consider that suggestions like the one put forward by Brassica could very well be what is best for the players. If too many players 'abuse' shai as a support as feared then respond to that issue if and when it occurs. Please don't be afraid of action based on realities that don't exist and may never exist, as this is the tendrils that will allow delusion to reign king. Do not allow the fear of changing the sol to continue to hurt the players of the class and the game overall. By keeping it as it currently is, you are telling support focused players that choosing shai means choosing to not play all of the other classes released both present and future.

If you deploy the suggested sol change then this will be the same as telling shai players to no longer consider playing any other class.
