Look im not one to make elebrate titles. But ill keep this brief. Im looking at bdofoundry and PA has had the appifiny to give maegu some buffs...to her awakening No one freakin likes...yet the community is wanting some of her succ damage back as it struggles.. way to drop the ball PA. buff something no one freakin plays, hates. whats next another succession nerf? youve already killed her clones.. removed protections to skills that damn well needed it. reduced the damage 3 times then added a 70+% to PVE skill damage nerf on top of that, made split damage affect mobs on top of PVP targets.. Anyone else see a problem here?

They said that they'll not nerf Woosa so they'll make every other class be OP like her....but with the recent updates I don't really see that...awa Lahn still sucks and Maegu succ in endgame PvE is nowhere close to Woosa since all the nerf she had. I will never play awa Maegu since I don't like classes with high APM because they hurt my fingers.

I hope next week succ Maegu will get all her protections back and some damage because Woosa has a lot of protections but Maegu was nerfed with ??% of her protections gone, some range nerfs to her abilities which were like 50% nerf.....but archer can still shoot from the other side of the screen.

Awa Lahn can NEVER be as good as Woosa. She's outdated and needs a complete rework.

She can't even manuveur around packs of mobs. She has a pathetic sidestep that messes up your combo rotations. A backwards i-frame that's too slow to be used offensively. W+F would be nice if it passed through things, but it's another terrible mobility tool for pve.

Awa Maegu and Awa Corsair function so much better.

They killed it not for "balance" but to reduce the number of players playing it

It's completely stupid because their balancing is thoughtless, they just reacted urgently and destroyed everything because they didn't know what to do

In the end the class is still top in mid game (this was the main reason for complaints about orcs......) and they made it useless in end game....

And they will never go back because like some classes, once they were at the top, even after 10,000 nerfs the players will continue to cry as soon as there is the slightest up...

Nah, It's far from useless in endgame. It just isn't The best in the game bar-none. Sure, it isn't up there with Awa Witch/Succ Guardian/Succ Woosa/Succ Warrior, but it I think that's fine given its ease of use and forgiveness. Now, those other classes I just listed aren't exactly super difficult in comparison either, but they do still have more risk tied to them than Maegu does.
It's still a plenty viable PVP Class as well, especially in smaller scales of PVP. I think awakening should be the spec getting more attention given this, personally.

Nobody bives a f about PVP these buffs were For PVE as the devs said. Yes maegu pvp awake is ok if you like to be fast yet slow at the same time but far as viable? No just no in a group shes slapped down hard 1v1? yea shes alright

Reason they nerfed Maegu:

On KR lootscrolls are harder to come by, they don't have as many events and other rewards giving them out for free. People run out of lootscrolls. What you could do with a SEASON character succ Maegu though is grind lower sycraia with lootscroll level 1 get 9.9k trash and gain 2.5 lootscrolls per hour in form of time-filled black stones. For KR standards that was really broken. 9.9k trash level 1 lootscroll is more than the vast majority of people gets ok their main. Even after the nerfs Maegu is still the best PvE class in some spots. And that probably also won't change because good movement, range, aoes.
