i really think you guys have to considder something.
as electricity is extremely expensive i think it would be reasonable to keep our workers working while our pcs can be shut down..
as for myself and probably a lot more ppl that like making money of their empire, it really sucks that we have to keep our pcs on.
this litterally costs us quite some money per month to do this.
for me this is very demotivating to play this game cus i dont like to grind.
it ppushes me away from the game and thats very unfortunite.
i think it will be a smart move to do, jjust let it still cost food from the family inventory and it will make a lot of ppl very happy. SPECIALLY SINCE IM CRASHING EVERY NIGHT !!!!

No we don't, workers obsolete nothing they produce worth anything,  just go grind 1h and buy whatever you want from MP.

Try leveling up your Trade skill without workers.

Try building a carrack/enhancing it without workers.

This same thing could be said about afk fishing as well.   Having to leave your comp on 24x7 to fish overnight is pretty dumb.  

Take a look at BDO Mobile, where it lets you do stuff like offline grinding/fishing/gathering.

Who wants to do nothing but grind all day?  What's your point? 

Not everyone has the same interests as you.

if its not your thing then dont answer.. i dont like grinding so thats off the table. and its not a solution either.. i mean they give us an worker empire, then let us enjoy it. so much wasted content in this game.. 

im trying to join a sailor guild atm and getting into bartering i already have the first upgraded boat

It's something I dislike of BDO, everything stops if you logout.
And sometimes I think why BDO can't do what other games do like Ni No Kuni that have an afk mode will you goes out.
Time that is used by an IA to grind for you, and have a timer to stop when it reaches the limit. A mechanic like that can be easily applied to the workers, and fishing, and other afk activities (not grind) in Black Desert.

If no one do afk activities with workers, the marketplace will be dead in a few days (no more materials to buy if you only grind).
