the garmoth pity pieces need pity pieces or they somehow need to be repurposed into a garmoth's concentrated magic. they seem rare enough for that. after all, vell has the concentrated magic to help with the full heart drop being as rare as it is

I don't undersand why anyone would think that they are somehow entitled to a valuable item just because they have been trying a long time to get it. While you're at it, maybe everyone should just get a free heart? That's the route they took with Dream horses, and frankly, it cheapens the efforts of everyone who painfully farmed all the mats and dealt with the RNG to make their own. It was a bad decision. They are pretty much givning away Khan hearts too, but at least Khan drops other useful items. If Velll or Garmouth hearts became guaranteed, very few would come to those fights anymore because the rest of their loot table is garbage. There is a small group of players on NA that have all the best gear and items, and they are *bored*. One only comes on once or twice a month to sink ships after Vell. They admitted that's all they have left of interest, just ganking people that are weaker. Another cruises the seas looking for weaker ships to sink, mostly guild galleys, and on land just rips through Rawr-Rawr hunters. He even streams it. He's bored, he calls it role-playing, but it's just ganking because there is nothing else left for him. Stop wishing for EZ-mode, it will not help the longevity of the game or interest in the game, and you will only wind up with hundreds of bored PKs instead of a small handful. Sure, people are going to drop out from frustration, but it's worse if they drop out because there is nothing left of interest, or even worse still, the only interest they have left is ruining things for everyone else. I played EQ2 for many years, and that's what happened there; a constant stream of game updates that did nothing but invalidate previous content and make you start over. After a while, it's just the same thing over and over wiht new graphics.
Thing is, chances to get Vell heart is low ( see Poli video where he opened so many bundles and get few of them) Garmoth heart very very low ( few friends got heart after 2-3 years which is out of scoupe to get it after so long) Garmoth pitty very low aswell and you need 10 of them, garmoth heart quest line to get it guaranteed its a looong quest that requires other stuffs that takes . You're right, its not EZ but those just helps you to improve the gear to progress further in pve content not to make daily profit, waiting for so long to get RNG drop its just bad, I ended buying them from market as its the easiest and profitable way, you can make the silver just to buy them and that makes other to not doing those bosses again. So getting that by rng or buying from mp will lead to not doing again those bosses cause are more like wastining time.
As I said, its a pve game but spending 10-30k hours here just to get roughly end gear its way too much ( this is for only one character ), so if I want to have like 4 other chars to play with for diversity? One is tagged but others needs same gear setup which mean to do the same thing.

And this is BDO's biggest problem: there is no point in playing since we won't get what we need from the drop anyway and it's better to just buy it. Consequence of this is that everyone wants to buy, and there is no one who will try to get it and then sell it, so these items simply do not exist. I bought 3 bs tet, 3 godr tet, 6 tungrad tet, vell heart, 2 dream t9, despair flame, frost flame (and probably something else that I don't remember now) and I should get all this just by playing, not paying!!!
The next problem is that the price of truly end-game items is so astronomical that currently it is approximately 3000b in total, which is an amount impossible to grind for 99% of ordinary players because they would have to play for 10-15 years!!!

I stopped going and I still dont have it. Im not wasting my time anymore at that place. Ended up buying Vell after years of no drops and said fuck that place as well.

It almost would have worked, I have an extra 5 Garmoth Hearts, they increased the price to 20b, I might sell one of them, might. The max price needs to be up to 50b before I think I would sell any of them, 20b just isn't gonna be enough silver to warrant it when it is only 20 hours of grinding.

I'm still flabbergasted at a guaranteed Khan heart, something you'd only ever "need" one of, and mainly if you do any kind of lifeskilling. They can give out two dream horses valued at potentially 12 billion silver each, but Garmoth heart is the line in the sand.

Since they added the pity system to Garmoth, I've been doing it religiously and have 0 pity....they need to put some pity of the pity of pities for garmoth heart to get something.....
