Ship auto-pathing is absolutely HORRID. It is NEVER even close to a straight line, and always takes you way out of the way, zig zags you all over the place and wastes resourses. It is impossible to auto-path from Illiya to Hakoven without getting stuck in a wall several times. This need a lot of work or at least make auto-pathing use less stamina to compensate for how far out of the way it takes you every single time you use it.
Today I got the worst auto-path ever. This one has me backtracking a long distance to go around some islands I am already past. WHY?
lol... that's a feature
OK I got a NEW worst auto path just now. Yeah this seems like a perfectly logical path to take.
Just let us set multiple waypoints the ship will follow. Problem solved!

i mean u just set mutliple waypoints without realizing it and blaming the game there lol

Incorrect. I opened the map, right clicked once on my next barter location and that poped up. To do that mamually would have taken 6 clicks in different locations along the path. Not possible to do accidentally.
Question, see that little helm icon (ship steering wheel) on the bottom right? When you click on it, what is your route set too? Quick or Short?
Secondly about getting stuck, before you hit T to autopath, do you hit S to fully stop your boat?
Waiting for PA to fix boat content is worse than watching paint dry, it's a meme in itself, but these workarounds make it so you get stuck way less often.
Set the navigation settings to Quick and you will have less jaggeds around land mass. The hitting S to full stop the boat will make it so your boat slows before turns if Breezy Sail is active. I never get stuck with my Valor because it has massive turn, but my Advance can get stuck by Hako because turn isn't up to par with the Valor.
I am in no way defending PA, this is just to help you stress less.

Yes my Nav Settings are set to Quick and Smooth.
Coming from Hakoven I am setting the path I orient the ship to face the correct direction, then stop, then set the path to Illiya. However, you are correct that I do this in an Advance with all Innocent sailors, so the Turn stat is relatively low.
In the most recent screen shot above, I was also at a complete stop from doing the barter at Padix then right clicked to set the path to the next barter and that is what I got.
