Please add Male paladin class thanks
You mean a warrior?
Not the same thing. Paladin is a holy knight of sorts. A Templar type class. A knight who uses holy magic/spells/spirtual power along with sword and shield. So a male counterpart of Valkyrie.

Male Valk is already warrior....
I don't get how so many people insist that the Warrior and Valk are mirror classes, they have not been for a very long time. Valk has heals and group buffs, Warrior does not. Hell the Guardian play's way more like a Male Warrior than Valk does.
Still not sure if they really left room for a Male Paladin/Cleric in the lore. (Technically we got one with the Hash, but he playes very differently from what most Paladin players would want.) What's more, If there are two things Pearl Abyss does not like making, it's Support character's and dudes.
It's kind of funny they chose to make the Paladin in game female, as I'd be willing to bet a pretty penny that Paladin player's lean more towards choosing an Avatar ove Eye Candy. Then again the Paly player base does seem to have a fair amount of female players. But that's mostly a vibe I get from playing other games here in the west, maybe it's completely different in Korea.

Yeah Valk and Warrior are NOT the same thing. Can a warrior heal/buff allies? Do they use spiritual powers or abilities? A male paladin would on the otherhand be an official counterpart to valk. It's weird that people can't tell the difference.

I get that, but PA doesn't. Valk and Warrior started out as mirror classes, like Wiz and Witch, then Musa and Maewha, then Ninja and Kuno. None of them are exactly the same.
So if PA decides to make a male class that uses holy magic, it's probably going to be some priest of Elion or something like that, not a true mirror of a Valk. They probably think the weapon/shield field is pretty crowded already.

Ah ok, I get ya. So warrior and holy warrior kind of deal. The woman trained in Calpheon as a Valkyrie, the man as a knight or somesuch. I'm honestly surprised they didn't have paladin upon release seeing as how that's a very popular class. I have a friend who only plays male, he doesn't like playing as a female character. Paladin was always the class he picked.

I mean to be honest, I'd be fine with that. A two-hander (Likely Hammer or some Polearm) would be a good weapon to start with, or maybe something a little more fast paced like a Assassin or Skirmisher (Using perhaps a Rapier or Estoc. Though we'd already be drifting away from Paladin, towards something like Soloman Kane, or Friar Tuck 's erlier more sword canny incarnations. in addition to the game desighn issues presented by a more mobile character with access to heals & buffs). Just about the only thing i'd be annoyed to see is a pure caster, we already have wizard. Wizard but shinier would be a real let down.
