can i ask what the pvp changes are. i play this game off and on and have no idea what all of this discussion is about.

all im reading is vague complaining, nothing specific. not very helpful instructions, especially given this is 12 pages of people talking about information i lack.

They've removed one-sided decs so if your guild decs, the other side has to accept in order to start the gvg and only the gm can accept, karma is family-wide now so if you have negative karma on one character you're negative on ALL of them. Also if you flag, you risk being reported then banned for 'disrupting gameplay' even if you're on Arsha (PvP) channel. However regarding that last bit I don't know if that's just in general or for harassing streamers. Also as other's have stated you will no longer be able to form a siege on Arsha. So even your own guildmates can be enemies if they're not in the same party. So openworld PvP isn't really a thing anymore. I mean you can get some PvP action on Arsha especially in hotspots, but nothing like before. Or if you dec on a PvP oriented guild. Battlegrounds and node wars are really the only options left with battlegrounds being the more viable of the two. There's talk of the removal of the flagging system but I don't know how true that is. Ironically they're coming out with a PvP themed update, 'War of the Roses.' I don't know too much about it other than it's faction based. It's two factions fighting over the Kamasylvia region. I don't know if you choose your faction or if it's random. It sounds like it's something in between battlegrounds and nodewars. 

PA blocked karma system exploit and now all these toxic pseudo pvp players are crying that they can no longer grief other players with impunity.

PA added 1min safe timer to loot garmoth > PvP players not happy because they can't chainkill 0 gear alt and newbies to prevent them from looting PvP

PA removed one-sided guild war

PA added marni instanced server

PvP players are crying because there is no more PvP

Except none of them want to go to arsha because...? 

Additionally, in global lab they blocked group griefing also on Arsha channel, it will no longer be possible to harass one person with 20 people, now every player will be an enemy to every player, even from your own guild.

Citing bullying and harassment, PA removed one sided deccs and changed karma to be family wide.  Now both guilds must agree to a war declaration.  As a guild that was the target of 15 months of targeted harassment from an unhinged stalker, I appreciate PA's intent.  However, I think they went too far, too fast.  I would have taken much smaller steps, such as 4-6 hour timers on one sided deccs.
