A Korean player posted on Reddit. Apparently, KR is experiencing "accelerated user churn". I don't have hard numbers, but anecdotally, yes, it feels that way in NA too.
Seriously guys, read the post. It's about the War of Roses controversy Recon Kangas and Parvat brought up. The post was posted by a KR player on NA/EU official BDO subreddit. Interesting stuff going on.

I have seen many stupid arguments, this one takes the cake.
People have been complaining about PvP not giving a way to progress for years. Choice even made one of the most upvoted post on this forum asking for more rewards for rbf. PA said don't care.
Open world was a way to create player generated content, guild wars and drama kept people hooked. There were a reason a bunch guild were open world only and didn't care about node wars and sieges. In fact siege is such a laggy mess that people who do not siege are way happier then those who do. PA took that option away. In fact, I can probably even predict that with new upcoming new arsha changes PA is probably working on removing flagging up next.
It is not NA that is angry at those changes, KR is too and according to a recent post in reddit they have started protesting and boycotting war of the roses.
PvE-er making every argument about themselves is cringe af. Nobody cares about you unless you start griefing somebody's rotation and even in current situation people have found a way to punish the griefer.
On a side note. That drop is share price was not really because of PA pushing garbage decisions on us but another drama with a company that tried to sway user opinion and got caught.
You consider my argument stupid, yet you were not able to refute a single point and instead stated things I did not write about. Think how stupid is that, totally missing the point and resorting to personal attacks. Moreover, you just make things up as you please, it was repeatedly stated that those changes are not even a thing in KR. I did not say PvP should not be a way to progress. I did not say that guild wars are meaningless; guild wars are still possible. I did not say node wars and sieges should not be improved. I simply summarized the arguments, many of them inherently false, flying around over and over again.

None of the PVP community asked for a 300 v 300,
I am a pve player and I would love to take part in the war of the roses. Unfortunately, PA demanded huge amounts of money from both the guild and the players for their participation, so this entire mode makes no sense.
The War of the Roses should be free and available to anyone who wants to participate.

BDO has earned tens (probably even over 100-200) million over these 7 years. Do you think they will care about a "boycott"?
If revenues drop, they will announce end of support for game, shutting down servers within 6-12 months, and that's all this "boycott" will give you.
Throne and Liberty will premiere in Korea in early December. If the game does not achieve immediate success, PA can sleep peacefully for the next 2-3 years.

That's not accurate. Failure of that magnitude would cost J his job, if he doesn't lose it prior, and it would be a huge blow to the company.

Three things:
- This protesting is going to go nowhere unless those protesting stop expending money. I know more than a few that actively complain but have purchased every single pearl deal this black friday. Doubt they are exceptions.
- Having so much gear capped content is just a side effect of the current gearing system and how much of a difference GS can be. When players feel they don't have a chance they will stop showing up at some point or another. This problem can't be fix without upsetting a good part of the player base and messing with one of PA main sources of income.
- Players need to accept that compromises are needed in order to accommodate a wide arrange of playstyles if we want to keep BDO alive and well for the foreseeable future.
Agreed. I, for one, haven't spent any money on BDO for a while now. I'd always jump on those 1+1 pearl box deals for kama blessings, VP's, and even old moon books. The previous two, I haven't bought them and the current plethora of 1+1 boxes, I haven't bought a single one, not even the cheapest one. I'm not giving pa any money until the sort out some things I have big issue with.
For me, the biggest thing is giving much more tangible meaning for end-game gearing and pushing past 720 GS. PvE, PvP, PvX, whatever. Not sure what the best way to do that is, though. But, then again, I'm not a game dev.
10v10 Crews sounded cool. IMO, classes are best balanced in a 10v10 setting, or, close to skirmish GvG numbers. Where did that idea go?
Battle of Thrornwood Castle sounded cool. True PvX content. Where TF did that go??
I thought (could be mistaken) they were gonna rework Altar of Blood. PA, hello???
You give us a 300v300 mode and can't even maintain a good enough connection for Asia Wars. And you want to give us this 300v300 mode when you already talked about other PvP content, but didn't release it, and now realize even your KR playerbase is fed up with your crap??? Fed up to a point where they declined to participate in your 300v300 mode so you had to cancel it? WTF is going on, PA? Are you okay???

Thanks for sharing those screenshots. It seems like a lot of KR players are feeling the same way us here in the west are feeling right now. I agree, we need to take a stand somehow if better changes are to happen. I've stopped purchasing Acoin for a while now.
It's just sad because I know most of us here love this game. And it sucks to see so many players being fed up with management. J's comments in that last stream, explained in the KR players Reddit post, didn't do any favors either.
