You have probably missed it. They said they are removing recipes for accessories and make the directly droppable instead.
Possible, unfortunately, but English is not my primary language, and some of what they said was simply incomprehensible to me, I prefer to read something because even listening to it again did not change anything.
Update. I watched the ball again, and again I didn't hear anywhere that they were removing them from the game.

The Calpheon Ball announcement could make changes to this with their collapsing and simplifying mats for items while changing the monster zone drop rates.
