Please add an option to hide other ships that are docked at wharfs in safe zones. When they get crowded it becomes ridiculous and they are all stuck in each other. While the new "Board" and "Disembark" features help navigate getting on and off of the ship. Sometimes that's not enough. I have had my small Caravel end up on top of (completely out of the water) other people's Carracks. Also completely inside of the larger ships. If we could hide docked ships (no one at the captain's wheel) in safe zone wharfs it would help a lot.
NOTE: Ships belonging to players in your group/platoon SHOULD still be shown.
Light congestion at Illiya:
YES!
they could just make 'hide other adventurers' function work as what it mean, hide other adventurers)))) i laugh my ass off every time at Vell, when there is massive shot, all ships disappear and only cannon balls fly around you. but when you butted from wheel to jump to water... all ships appear and you end up in the middle of something, not knowing where you are or where to run)
agree, but since they have bodyblock, i think its impossible
Just as an FYI, this what can happen if you pull your ship out but another ship was there first, then they leave. Sometimes you can get stuck like this, have to Disembark, Check In, and Check Out to Fix.
Wharf was so busy this day, someone parked ON TOP of the wharf manager. I was forced to change servers just to buy supplies for my ship. Ridiculous.
Yet another busy day at the Wharf, no idea how many ships are here, there are so many stacked up on top of each other.
The problem is Caracks are just too big, that they take up so much realestate.

Yes, we need canoes with 9 cannon per side.
The board/disembark buttons take care of a lot, although the visuals are a problem. However, I once boarded a ship that was entirely contained in a panokseon when spawned, and ended up trapped inside, had to change server. Esc-esc would have also worked, but then the ship would have still been trapped.
Ships in mid-air: not (only) due to crowding, that can happen anywhere. And even checking in / taking out / switching servers does not always - or even usually - correct it. What always works is jumping into the water - once you free yourself of the wheel, because you will be stuck there as well - and then calling the ship down (right click the ship icon).
So thinking about what fix I would want for that, just let us navigate the floating airships : ) OK, kidding. But it's absurd.
Ship collision would still remain if only hiding ships. There would have to be sort of system to turn off player collision while near a dock.
