There's a lot of things you're failing to address in this heavily biased and one sided argument.  If we are to discuss properly, like people who actually give a damn about this game -- then OBJECTIVITY is what's needed, not biases.  I think that's why you're being called "woke", because "woke people" are stereotypically known to be heavily biased when it comes to things like cancel culture, which, by reading your comments, you are 100% in favor of.

1)  The problem isn't "aquiring new players", mentioning that as if people are against that is an strawman argument.  ReconKangas and others here are 100% for aquiring new players -- we play an MMORPG, after all.  The game can only function when it's Massively Multi Player.

2)  You fail to realize that, in BDO, there are multiple ways to "grief".  PK is only the dirt on the surface of the trash bin that is your opinion.  "Rotation griefing" is another way players can grief.  Following players around who are grinding and kill-stealing mobs.  In all forms of griefing, the game has MANY circumventative measures.  Channel swap every 5 mins, Home Channels for guilds, Marni's Realm every 2 hours, and more -- if a player is STILL being PK'd after these measures, then that's reasonable means of reporting.  However, if a player "rotation griefs", then the griefer will not follow them around channels because the reason they do it in the first place is to steal the spot.  "Rotation griefing" -- I've never heard of players getting banned for this, but it's an undeniable form of griefing in this game, one you failed to mention (hence, your biases showing and your true colors).

3)  No one can "Block a player from progressing".  See the above ways to avoid PVP in BDO.  No one will bother you to this fantasy-like extent if you don't bother anyone in BDO -- and if someone does try to mess with you like that -- swap channels, use Marni.  You worked an 8 hour day and just want to grind?  MARNI'S REALM.  Is it on cooldown and someone PK's you?  LET THEM GO RED.  OR SWAP CHANNELS.  Not rocket science.  There's safeguards in place to mitigate these things you're crying about.

4)  "A 730 GS can go to Valencia and kill new players for hours on end" -- They go RED for it, family-wide.  They get PK'd, they can lose crystals.  They can even DOWNGRADE GEAR -- Imagine a PEN Blackstar downgrading to TET --- That's over a 120 BILLION SILVER LOSS. 

Bandit (red) gameplay is a legitimate playstyle that's been part of BDO since the beginning and that is EASILY avoidable via the ways mentioned above.  This is a fantasy-level complaint.  As if there isn't anything in place to mitigate it.

5)  You also fail to mention the players in KR and how even THEY are complaining about the state of the game.  BDO is still a KOREAN MMO, did you forget?  They have players boycotting.  Players are leaving.  Where are all these new players now?  Even with all these care bear changes, why is J making apologies?  DId you even watch the stream where he's bowing down, did you even read the English transcript?  Did you even watch Enlaive's translation of it?  Did you do ANYTHING other than sit here and TAKE A DUMP on other people in the community,???  If all these care bear changes are indeed as good as you think they are, THEN WHY IS J APOLOGIZING????????  MAKE THAT MAKE SENSE

While I agree that PA went too far, too fast with the gvg changes ( I would have put timers on one sided deccs to reduce abuse), I appreciate them moderating chat for racist, homophobic and antisemitic crap.  I don't think wokeism has anything to do with their bad gvg choices.  J has lost credibility - from the impulsive and drastic elimination of all one sided deccs to the unequal punishing of pkr's.  His latest comments smack of desparation and a lack of clear thinking.  Who asked for these gvg formats and node war changes?  He refuses to listen, and he needs to go.

If so, he's badly mistaken.  I was in marketing for 12 years, and moved into General Management after being a VP of Marketing.  A standard metric is that EXISTING customers are more valuable lifelong customers than are new ones - often 3 to 10 times more profitable.  The cost to acquire and retain new customers is high.  A rookie mistake is to chase new customers at the expense of existing ones.  Unless you are already bleeding customers and lack the capabilities to keep them, you always prioritize your most profitable, existing base.  It'a marketing and sales truism that rarely fails.
