The guild war changes have a lot of people very much against them, myself included. I understand the merit of not wanting to be griefed, but the implementation of the current way that guild war decs are delivered to the opposing guild also makes it so that it's impossible to get guilds to accept the war even if they wanted to.
Currently, when a guild war is delivered, the Guild Master of the receiving guild is presented a pop-up that interrupts their gameplay. As a result, a lot of them automatically decline incoming guild war requests as it's a very easily abusable griefing mechanic. I've also heard some people say that the pop-up would cause UI mouse mode to be engaged and interrupt their actions if they are in combat.
My suggestion is as follows:
1) Make it so guild declarations are sent to the Received tab of the Guild UI menu, where any Officer or higher ranked member can accept or deny them.
2) Add a Participants button to the guild war for each guild, so that you can choose who in the guild is participating in the war. If you have a guild member that is being griefed that you don't want to participate, you can remove their participation in the guild war with that guild without putting them on full protection from all your other wars.

Letting any officer accept a war dec makes sense but why do we need guild leadership to select who can participate in a GvG? What problem does that solve?
