It just doesn't fit with the game at all. Will it dual weild pistols? A long rifle? Sub weapon - grenades? Awakening weapon - rocket launcher? Can't they just make something WAY cooler and more thematic? DRUID?! Some sort of shapeshifter/beastial kinda class?! (no succ zerk isn't it) I've heard people ask for a necromancer theme or a dwarven/orcish warhammer type class.. that'd be cool. But man gunner is just not it.

My guess is that it's going to be Fast paced, evasion carry, iframe heavy, no grab, Heavy CC, mid-ranged, High APM.

Duel wielder of Pistols & Awakening could be Shot gun wielder. Playstyle could be highly focus in awak & pre-awak swapping for combos. 

Class could have very high skill ceiling.

Gunner has no place in this game. Its litterally a Cash grab to appease the minority cause you know damn well that majority of people never asked for it. Another thing is that we already have 4 classes maybe 5 if you count Zerker's Cannon on awake as Range. Why do we need more Range Classes in the game? you got Archer and Ranger with Bows and Arrows. And you got Witch and Wizard as casters. Why, bring a class with futureristic technology that Pushes the Archers and Rangers out of play??? You Shoot yourself in the Foot with the Greed dude..wtf.

I can already see the nonsense. Im calling it right, The Class is going to have skills related to Archer AND Ranger right, And Take protection from them but less gaps. Loaded with SA and Ranged Frontal Gaurds. Rinse and repeat. Its just going to be a better version of Archer and Ranger to push people to roll off.

They do, why would anyone reroll into it otherwise ?

If they did a gunner, he should be a pirate.  Since they have Musa and Maewha, Archer and Ranger, Warrior and Valkyrie, it would make sense to have a gun/hand cannon toting male counterpart to Corsair.

Otherwise, a dwarf wielding a suitable pistol to blunderbuss would fit the lore nicely.

Hopefully this time it will be a male class. It really can't be a good idea to only offer new classes in female form for years now. And I'm also of the opinion that it would definitely be good for Black Desert if a female character creation lock were introduced.

The fact that when only male characters are finally allowed to be created for a few months at least would mean that you would finally encounter more male characters = better balance of the immersion of the game.

And anyway: Away with the generic humans and elven people as alter egos for new classes. What Black Desert needs is a breath of fresh air. Giants are needed again, as far as I'm concerned also the obligatory troll and definitely real hairy dwarves.

I didn't ask for it, but IF they make it really original somehow, then I think it'd be pretty cool. If they throw a wildwest cowboy *eyeroll* in BDO, it'd just seem out of place... Put BDO does and has had pirates... and pirate DO carry guns... I always get shot at by those drunken piates on those islands lol. So I can imagine a gunslinger with a pirate background. It could be the male counterpart to the Corsair maybe?
