So Im going to be honest, I'd love a druid who is a caster in succession and then shapeshifts into a giant bear for awakening and the two playstyles are completely different which means you'd see both of them. The issue is they will never do it, asian culture in general frowns on specific themes which is why none of the games coming from the asian market allow it. 

Shapeshifting is seen as an evil act or is seen at the very least as something humans cant do, we litterally get nothing but human classes so unless they shift away from human only player characters we're screwed. Zerker exists and is a giant but he came out a long time ago when they were still creative. The two.. err.. I think three elven classes are all elves in name only. 

As for necromancy? Never going to happen. Like the dead are sacred in asian culture and as much as I'd love to see a necromancer (diablo 2 to be precise) with summons and curses, dark magic and is a more evil take on a PC...? They will legit never do it and will never allow us to vocalize the want in any offical manner.

There is an unsurmountable disconnect between what we want, what they think we want and what they want. Scholar is their answer to us requesting a hammer/dwarf character, as well those of us who have spammed wanting a celtic themed character. So we get none of those and got this abomination instead; The simple fact is asian games are asian games. Designed, top to bottom to capitalize on their culture and their views in gaming... we as lost ark has showcased are an afterthought. When lost ark came out in korea they said they would NEVER bring it out to the west, it only happened now because the game had seemingly peaked in korea so of course it'd now have to expand to a wider audience to make all of the money.

The TL;DR. They dont, never have and never will care about their western market. We simply are here by their good graces and any and all releases will be korea first. Korean players likely would not enjoy a shapeshifter, a necromancer or any other class that is not some generic crap because if they did why would their games not bring them out ASAP? As much as I want those classes... I've accepted I am not the targeted demo for this game. Drakkania and Zerker are as close as I'll get to acceptable themes that I'd be willing to play. I suggest y'all do the same.

While I have been for a Gunner Dwarf class ( It will be another Tit/BOOBA, sporting High-Heel class again) you can see a lot of black powder weapons all throughout BDO ( Dwarf undead in Grave yard and male dwarf bandits at Gahaz shooting the shit out of people). But to answer your question NA gave up on asking for this type of class when Archer put fear of ranged class in all the PvPers. Another game introduced gunner ( I think Throne and Liberty and that Isometric Korean game has them) the Koreans on the KR BDO forums went nuts asking for it and started bitching ( In their polite manner) about not getting it so, Jae will make it his sole mission to get it in the game " FOR THEM" not NA or EU ( He gives two shits about what we want). But it's coming and you can bet your bottom dollar to Pearls it will not be a Dwarf Gunner ( They missed that opportunity with this last class) and that's not what their Korean players drool over.

It's probably gonna be a little girl, knowing them and their "cultural" differences from us.

It could also use the lost tech that's all over the game. 

Necro only. They need another male, anyway, and, at this point, I'd say PA had some bent against death magic (which is strange given some other things in the game.) If you don't want massive pets, then don't make massive pets. Can be curses, sacrificial buffs, etc. Necro is one of the more interesting dynamic classes in a game when it's built right, so it's strange to reach this point without anything.

It'd be funny if they made a mounted class, too haha. But really disappoint @ scholar so far. I like playing it, cuz it's kinda jumpy and derpy, but the theme is meh (imo.)

I dunno I Feel both necromancer and druid, as well cleric (a true holy cleric who is a healer) would fit wonderfully in the game.

Dont worry too much about it. All these dents are expecting some cyberpunk gunner but what they are going to get is another corsair squirtgun with otter PA concoction.

It looks like we're getting a death-themed character in the next male class, but not the way Western players want. He resembles the Jeoseung Saja mythology. We aren't their financial target and never will be.

yeah man, they would actually break the mould. Summon / shape shift / another support class that is less Shai.

I guess that's not what people want, tho. I personally love support. I think a super fast thief class that was eva, iframing and was just supposed to grab / cc in pvp would be cool, too. A lot of possibilities, alas. Super fast class would be fun for gathering, too! They don't really have an op gather class, rip. They need a class that can gather multiple things at once.

Dudes said BDO was a game lacking imagination, but I said I didn't agree. I do think they are lacking it with their classes. Since like... Corsair. Corsair was trash (imo?) but I give them credit for making something weird. I find scholar to be one of the weakest releases. It's funny because on season when I made mine, the whole freaking place was full of them. It was like guardian release. I was surprised.
