Why they say it's not a rootkit, and why they say it shuts down w/ the prog... if people say that's not true?
Everything they say is contrary to what I have read. How is this possible?

I considered installing the game with a bare bones account that has zero permissions to anything on my system, other than where the game resides, but honestly, I don't care anymore. I know how much money I've put into this game over the years and they'll be doing me a favor. I won't install stuff on my computer that goes beyond looking at what is interacting with the game it's designed to protect. If that means I find myself with more free time to finish off the other games I've left unplayed for years, then so be it. That said, feel free to link your data on AI and how it's being implemented to be hundreds of times more invasive than a level 0 anti-cheat program. That should prove to be quite an interesting read, since my career is in IT, writing programs and utilizing AI for automation and cyber security.
XIGNCODE is kernel level, above basic OS systems like users. You'd need an entirely separate computer. Preferably on a sequestered network away from your other computers.
I want to be clear, this occurred under Kakao. NOT PEARL ABYSS.
As a victim of the false banwave on March 31, 2019 - I am furious. It was speculated hard at the time that xigncode was the main false positive trigger, in that it detected steam users ( which I am ). I have spent a significant amount of money on my account. So now, I'm having some bad gamer PTSD.
And before anyone opens their mouth, it's real, it happened, Kakao they admitted it. You can find my apology letter from Kakao on my twitter same handle. If you didn't know, get educated now.

I don't care what anti cheat they use, anything but xigncode.
Please guys, literally, ANYTHING.
me and my guildmates, we boycott the game now.. deleted it already :)
Game's already uninstalled. I'm not doing XIGNCODE again, that malware was awful. Several of my guild mates have joined me, and many are considering that they might need to have BDO on its own separate PC even if they are staying.

Do you know, Pearl Abyss, that i as your paying customer, can order a Investigation on your business and security programs? I only need to file a complaint to the Korean administration and state my concerns. I think that should not bother you, right, since you have nothing to hide.

Xigncode used to scan live memory and anything you had accessed for a 48 hr period. I don't know if it still does that. However, based on that, if the profile I'm using doesn't have access to my work profile and external hard drives, it shouldn't be scanning that stuff.
